Thx And I have no idea.  I do know the next installment includes a drunken bar fight from her younger more reckless days.  Caroline and Jack Daniels are a bad combination.

For me it looked like every krogan had some unhealthy habit of sniffing Shep's boobs. It doesn't look so comical for MaleShep. And yes, I'm not worried about Lilith, just remembered the talks from Kaidan's thread ;p

On a side note: did anyone noticed that sometimes Shepard's eyes are more than cross eyed sometimes? Like they aren't even on the same axis?
This image is flipped horizontally. Yellow line shows the current... uh, dunno - my English, symmetry of both eyeballs? And the red one is what I think it should be.
Means, left eye looks higher than the right one. I wonder if it's just a matter of this set of eyes or someone saw this on another?

Generally eyes are linked to the same animation point of the skeleton rigging, therefore they can't move independently and a 5 degree turn to the right will cause the other eye to also move 5 degrees to the right. That's how it works in both the Eclipse Engine (Dragon Age) and the Gamebryo Engine (Oblivion, Fallout 3). I've noticed that in Mass Effect sometimes the eyes don't quite match up, so it's possible that the Unreal Engine 3 allows for independent manipulation of the eyes and this causes problems with human characters since our eyes can't move independent of each other. I'm not really well versed in Unreal Engine so I can't say for certain but I've seen this kind of thing enough that I doubt it's merely an optical illusion.

@ akodo - lol, i gotcha. i remember those discussions. i just have a ridiculous amount of optimism for kaidan's faithfulness and femshep's ability to keep his concentration. of course, i saw the horizon intro scene with ashley first, and so the kaidan version looked about as not-interested as possible to me.

this sounds like good entertainment.

this is one thing i LOVE about shep - she an older hero, not the typical wet-behind-the-ears 18 year old kid whose family is killed and so she goes off to save the world. i mean, that story works for a reason, but i like that even colonist shep has a lot of experience. it (And jen hale's voice) gives shep this maturity which is so freakin' awesome to see. i really like it.

Indeed.  Destroyed hometown (colonist Shep) is a pretty common hero trope, but Shep has dealt with it.  

You gotta figure there are 11 years between when Shep enlists in the Alliance and Shep becomes a SPECTRE and ME1 happens.  5 years since Torfan, 6 years since Akuze, 7 years since the Blitz.  She's had a lot of experience.

alright so, I'm coming towards the starting of my "Commanders 2" story (this one will be an epic one shot) involving multiple femsheps interacting with each other and sharing experiences and such. I can possibly take 2-3 more femsheps than I have. If anyone else wants in, nows the time to volunteer =D

yeah, which is why i don't mind the trope in this case. and i wanted colonist shep to have a surprisingly stability - it was my spacer that always felt like a headcase, for some reason.

it is funny the time between the thing that made shep famous and her current spectre nomination. esp. the blitz - that's a long while back - she would have been pretty raw back then. make my writer senses tingle and want to fill in the gaps. :innocent:

Well I'm currently on my first ME2 with a Female Shepard.

I've always wanted to create one but since I never completed ME1 with a FemShep I never saw the point ( and for reasons that I won't get into I can't go through ME1 again, my sanity won't survive another playthorugh of that game ). Anyway thanks to the PS3 version and it's interactive comic I can finally create a female Shepard that survived ME1 and made some half decent decissions.

Needless to say I'm now a fan. Jennifer Hale is alot better at going from Nuetral to Paragon/Renegade than Mark Meer is and as an added bonus I've yet to come across the FemShep version of Male Shepard's creepy face.

It would be nice if she had her own walk/run animations. I was pleasantly surprised to see that she does get a few unique scenes however, I just started the "Archangel" recruitment mission and I had to laugh at how the Blue Suns merc treated FemShep, it was even funnier I did teh Renegade interupt and FemShep pulled out her gun and waved it in his face.
