truly, i totally discounted her as a blatant captain-kirkified hot alien chick.

Odd, I initially dismissed the asari as the GreenBlue Space Babes as a whole and found myself liking Liara because she wasn't acting quite like the others. She'd been spending about 50 years roaming through Prothean dig sites. I found myself liking that as opposed to the ones in Chora's Den, even if there was quite a "view" as Kaidan put it. (Okay, there was the rookie C-Sec cop down near the wards. I liked her too.)

Besides. How can you resist the puppy eyes?

i ignored her for most playthroughs, and then the comic came out and then lotsb and i was like, "oh, hey, she has a personality, what do you know?" - i now really love that character. i SO want the same thing for kaidan and ashley - lovely characters that fully deserve attention and moments of glory. part of me is dying for a VS dlc, the other part of me wants them to have a really crucial (and please, oh please, not fatal) role in ME3 so the folks who "hate" them for horizon can realize how awesome they still are.

Or both?

Outside of the usual contents, the pack comes with an advertising slip for the Mass Effect 2 'Arrival' downloadable content, with the simple header of 'The Arrival has begun' with a burning planet below.

I know keep teasing us Bioware!!    I need to complete Amelia's playthrough before DA2 comes out. Im almost there, a few sidequests, Grunts loyality. Then to the IFF. Legions Loyality then Suicide Mission.

Still go no idea how im doing Heretic station. Been thinking about it for months. Both options are wrong and I dont trust Legion fullstop!!

Then Arrival here we come!!  Im Optimistic this will be the best DLC content ever made!!!

Excellent video, Aislinn. Loved the bit where the shot of Samara sending out the biotic bubble switched to the shot of the Collector Base going boom!

That looks amazing, ELE. I was expecting  fire and flames, but then I'm guessing that's a Chinese Phoenix you've drawn, rather than an Egyptian Phoenix?

Either way it looks damn cool.

i'm sorry about your xbox. from personal experience of killing my own creations on the pc though, i can say that sometimes your best femshep is the one you painstakingly recreate for nostalgia's sake.

truly though, i know horizon brings up strong feelings for some people. i didn't care for the dialog for much of it, but i appreciated the narrative arc it kicked off. i'm just waiting for it to lead to a pot of gold at the end of the ME rainbow (yes, i am an eternal optimist)

SWEET! ooh, but please don't spoilerfy too much, or i'm going to have to go into hiding and not visit the forums at all. 

so far, I've LOVED the dlc. armor and weapons i could take or leave, some are nice, many i don't care so much, but the missions have been grand. zaeed was good, kasumi was lovely, overlord completely surpassed my expectations, and LotSB was better than the game itself, imho. it seems like they keep bringing out the better stuff as they go along - so not the way most VGs to their expansion packs.

aw, BW. sometimes i whine about you guys, but you know it's only because i care so much, right? :innocent:
