Question time:

What piece of in-game dialogue (from Shepard in either ME1 or ME2) best sums up your Shepards' outlook?

Kiria: (setting out to rescue Archangel)  "C'mon, let's give these guys a surprise of our own..."

Laera: (facing the Shadow Broker)  "Guess we're doing this the hard way..."

Diana: (confronting the Thorian)  "We are gonna need bigger guns..."

Though Goodwood doesn't really like the idea of quoting himself, he hopes to get more responses to this question before the thread diverges yet more into so-called "forbidden territory" -- as if he knows what that is. :innocent:B)

Edit: Here's a Femshep...

Since my soldier Femshep is based off of Elf from Schlock Mercenary, the annoying reporter should be very, very glad that her hover-cam is too large.

Well I wanted to contribute to the femshep deviant art page. But I dont think my images are good enough yet. But I decided who really cares :P

FemShep has trouble looking bad in anything. ;)

So I went back to my first background I did and tweaked it a bit over the past couple of hours.  Still not happy, but I dont think I ever will be.   Its not as dark anymore and higlighted a few areas. Added some backdrop profile text ect ect ect.
Looks sweet as my desktop background mind so it cant be that bad

Looks great to me. :)

Shepard is displeased.

Somehow she always looks her best to me with her renegade face on ;)

I think the quote from Mass Effect 2 that makes me think most of Holly is:

Batarian Plague Victim: "You helped me... why?"

Holly Shepard: "It's what I do."

That's about what most Paragons say.

Thinking about it, the Paragon response to Liara's "How are you doing?" question in LotSB defines Renee rather well. She's rather afraid at being the Hero, and she's doing it because she's afraid of the consequences of not being there.

Ooo it's hard to think of off the top of my head...there's probably better ones but, with visual aid:

Caroline: I'm just here to get the job done.  Let someone else be on the poster.

Goodwood is curious -- where did Caroline's quote come from and how is it accessed?

It's a dialogue option when Kaidan shows up in Shep's cabin if he's romanced.

Of course Caroline didn't romance Kaidan.  But the quote still fits :)

Ah, no wonder Goodwood never heard it. He's a man's man, and couldn't really have his Sheps going for Kaiden...

...make of that what you will. :wizard:

I can't really think of a good quote for Moira, but I think a few of my favorites that fit her personality are:

To the guy that runs Purgatory:  "Go to hell!  I'll send you there myself."

When Joker asks her about Kaidan:  "Another reminder of how I've lost more than time.  I don't need this garbage."

To Garrus:  "You worry too much.  And talk too much."

Renegade speech:  "We're here to make them regret."

Moira isn't one for tact. Or formalities that waste time. She sees what she wants and goes for it. Heaven help anyone that gets in her way. I'd say Garrus is the only one she gets emotional or tender with. Don't tell anyone, though, or you'll get pistol-whipped.

;)^_^

A quote that sums Kary up? Probably this: "Ha, ha, ha. Can't believe this worked!"

Ah, managed to get a set of "cannot unsee" screenshots from that last mad dash out of the ruins in Therum.

They're shielding themselves from dust and debris, but it looks like someone put up a horrifying image.

Hm. I think Kylie's quote would probably be: "No one gets left behind."

Of course, she's a Colonist/Sole Survivor... She tries as hard as possible to make that work, though.

Hm. Quotes that just strike me as if they were written exactly for Jessica.

ME1: "Call me 'princess' again and you'll be picking your teeth up off the floor."

ME2: "It's not the same, Joker. There's nothing here that was even part of the real Normandy.

LOTSB: "Honestly? I'm tired."

A tribute to my ME1 engineer FemShep, Abigail, who never finished the game. Work in progress thou, may change drastically, my main goal is to fit this set of mouth to a face. Kind of a challenge, people are rarely using those.

Most badass epic Paragon line ever!!  :D   The way Jen Hale pulls that off is too awesome!! B)

I hope Arrival has more of that!!!

I register one more vote for FemShep and hope that ME3 handles some of the issues with animation and such. However, I don't particularly care whether she's a prominent face on the marketing. Anyone who knows half a whit about Mass Effect knows that she's there.

I just wish she had a better default facial design. Making a good custom face is such a blasted chore, especially when you only have one good nose to work with.

Uh, my only non-cryoed Shep, April:
-"You chose your side, Elnora. And you lost." She has a bit of a personal vendetta against mercs (her parents were murdered by hired mercs when she was a small child), and has a strong 'choices are final' attitude.
-"Call me 'princess' again and you'll be picking your teeth up off the floor." Suits her quite well too, gangs left her pretty sharp-tongued. (sorry for snatching the quote from you , Sable. :o)
-Oh, and "You released the rachni queen? How many generations till THEY take over the galaxy?
Three... no four!" is one of my favourites of hers. XD

@ELE-08 I love that screen of Caroline, very evocative. :)
