I don't have a problem playing either Paragon or Renegade. Though I don't have a Shepard that's pure renegade, as I don't think anyone would follow, or have any respect for a person who is a complete and utter **** to every person they meet, be they friend, foe or stranger. Not saying playing a renegade character is bad or wrong, just explaining my own reasons for not doing so.

At least in the ME games taking renegade actions doesn't automatically lead to comic book villain type actions, like a lot of games do. I got part way through a darkside playthrough of KotOR and found the "darkside actions" so ridiculously evil to the point of being comical. Especially with Bastala constanly chirping in saying such actions lead to the darkside! Lady, I just stole the only thing of value a mother who can't afford to feed her kids had left, and told her to **** off! I'm not heading to the darkside, I've arrived!

I do have a renegon Shepard and she's definitely a fun character to play. She doesn't take any crap, and though she might be a bit cold towards some people, she isn't a heartless b***h.

I haven't posted many shots of her so I'll give her a run out.

Just can't play as a full Renegade.

I'm usually fully Paragon and 1/5 Renegade. Only doing some Renegade actions where i think it's necessary or where the person is likely going to die anyway. Just using a tactical advantage.

Aki has finally made it into ME2. Progress is slowed considerably by the lure of flycam and screenshots...at this rate, I put it about 50/50 that I'll get to Arrival before ME3 comes out.

I do a mix of renegade or paragon depending on the characters. Cathryne is always a get results type, even if she wasn't ruthless background that leads her to be almost 50/50 with just a dash higher paragon than renegade right now.

Mara is full blown renegade... well not everything, she does have SOME paragon but much of that was carry over. She liked heaven, she'd earned it (At least that's better to think about than the options).

Zevara is full paragon, only a very very very few renegade actions.

As for my mansheps... I don't like the voice meer uses for manshep, it doesn't 'fit' a lot of faces and I dislike the default face (Sorry Mark) so... I've got 4 mansheps, 1 for miranda, 1 for jack, 1 for tali, and 1 for Ashley, but NONE of them were a level 50+ import...

I've often said that Renegade FemShep is quite possibly the best kind of Shepard (in terms of fun, that is). I don't have a Paragon FemShep yet, but I plan to start one this summer.

For me it probably has to do with the fact that I unconsciously tend to roleplay my male Sheps as inherently similar to myself (I am a dude, after all), but with Cara and Marta there's no inherent similarity from the get-go, so it's pretty easy to go really out there with her characterization. Plus Hale's Renegade lines are delivered better than her Paragon lines, IMO.

Paragon with some toughness. My Sheps usually end up with 1/5 full renegade bar.

Miranda, Samara and Tali loyalty missions to go. I don't have Legion yet. Just finished Pragia.

The rooftop on Pragia was amazing!  I was surprised by the amount of effort they put into the water effects on Shepards armour.  It was a really nice feature to see.


Considering it normally always rains over here in England, I guess they needed to get it right for ME3 and the London fight!

Vanguard actually, you draw an SMG in that scene no matter what I just happend to be carrying a Shuriken at the time. A Soldier will always draw that particular SMG though since they don't actually have the ability to use one.

Haha, they really do look alike (yours looks effin badass).
To answer your question: this is actually a recreation of AwesomeName's Aenea using the ME2 to ME1 Face-Code Convertor. I just checked and the nose shape is 6 (height and depth both 1).

I guess I'll up some more screens later then.

Aha... yeah Cat is a Vanguard as well but I had done Kasumi's loyalty so was using the Tempest. If I never ever hear Jennifer Hale say 'Can't get a lock!' or 'Can't reach the target!' again I will be happy. Everytime she says that means I am about to reload due to the game just deciding it's time for me to die through no fault of my own.

I hope they fix that with ME3.

Guess I'll have to figure out how to make this flycam thing work so I can get some combat screenies.

I tried, she ended up paragade. That was in ME1, she was a renegon in ME2....Maria, Elizabeth and Naomi were meant to be nicer, Maria went renegon because of Horizon (damn it Kaidan! She misses you like hell...) Elizabeth because well, she missed her blue Prothean expert. While Naomi, since, she was with Cerberus, who wouldn't go a little bit more renegade after you died?!
All my others are, renegades or renegons. Lili was always renegon since Mindoir. Athena was born a renegade, she just a natural b*tch, or so people say. Titra went through Akuze, people not believing her, dying and coming back to work with Cerberus, it just doesn't fly. Lia is just like that, she isn't perfectly sane thanks to Earth and Akuze....

Re: Clipping issues
Yeah, I hope that gets fixed. Little things I'm okay with, but the bigger ones (example: FemShep's arm passing through Liara in LotSB) should be fixed.

Cara is a pretty hard Renegon, but she has this habit of doing moral one-eighties when it comes to the big choices. She runs around punching people in the face and waving her gun at everyone, but somehow she managed to go through Mass Effect 1 without killing the rachni, Shiala, the Feros colonists, *or* the Council. *oh noes* At this rate, she'll finish Mass Effect 2 and I'll discover that she blew the Collector Base to smithereens.

Even when she takes Paragon actions, she does them in a Renegade way.

Evan and Noah are both Renegons. For different reasons, though.

I've struggled to play renegade myself. I have my one renegade Mellisandre, but I think I swung too far in her character to the point that I really dislike her character. I can't even bring myself to play her DLCs again.

After my second playthrough of a different BW title, I am in the need to re-immerse myself in ME though. I might try again to play something less Paragon-y.

I, like others here have said, can't play either extreme. It's too unnatural to play as a pure Paragon or Renagade, no one is without faults or weaknesses, and I don't believe a hardass without empathy would entice many to follow them. My Sheps are usually Paragades, generally good but with character weaknesses. </2C>

Wow, Mass Effect on acid. But seriously, the editing is pretty damn phenomenal and it has a very cinematic feel to it (some amazing shots with flycam). I hope that one day you'll try to make a full on trailer for MEs, that would be ill.

Thank you. it *literally* took a ton of time to shoot those angles . However... trailers... hhhmm... I don't know... there are TONS of those out there already. In my case, I'm trying to do completely new things with both games.

Tell you what, if I get more requests for one, I'll put some effort into it.
