Renegade with a heart of gold is how I would describe Caroline.  Sort of, Moira's seems more of a wildcard compared to Caroline's by-the-book ruthlessness.

In fact between the 2 games she's split about even 50/50 paragon and renegade, but I'd say her personality is more complicated than the alignment system.  I gave her the ruthless background to set the groundwork for sort of a hardass military reputation.  It's a facade that she's willing to perpetuate to maintain authority and keep others emotionally distant.  But she'll fold if faced with something that just seems wrong.  Seeing David in Overlord was an "awww crap" moment, where there was no question she was going to do the paragon action.  Sort of Mal Reynolds, but really more like Chuck's Casey.  The tough guy act is all (mostly) a big show.  She really cares.

Yes, Caroline definitely seems like a by-the-book kind of gal. Moira's unpredictability mostly stems from her fiercely independent nature. She doesn't have much love for regulations, rules or limits. She ended up in the Alliance to escape from Earth for a very specific reason (which I need to get written down), but she believes the skills she learned were valuable. Becoming a SPECTRE was like that "AH YES!  We do things my way, now!" moment for her.

She uses Torfan in much the same way Caroline does (to make herself look like a hardass). It's not something she remembers fondly and sometimes wishes there could have been a better way. That facade has served her well, though, because I've managed to roleplay her to a point where she seems like a very scary person if you don't know her. XD

As for Paragon-like things she does:
She rescues David from Project Overlord
She punches Zaeed and saves the refinery
She comforts Nef's mother and hugs Tali
She tells off the C-Sec jerk on the Citadel harrassing the Quarian
She takes one or two Para prompts in LotSB and hugs Liara

Im not that creative writing character biographies with moral and emotional standings.  Im fine at the technical sides of things. Hence my Amelia Bio being heavy on explaining the science!

So reading Moira's and Carolines backstories are great.   Amelia is a sweet hero of virtue. Paragon playing makes it slighly harder to write and get really creative because you almost know what your getting.  A girl who had a terrible childhood and early career doesnt let her moral fabric or integrity get corrupted. Even in the most dire of circumstances.   Truely very noble but isolated at the same time, this is compounded by having one of the loneliest and toughest job in the Universe.  Being a spectre and chasing down the greatest threat of the Universe with little to no support.  Its enough to break even the strongest of characters.

Tried some biotic shots as well. Enabled flycam, disabled the hud and started firing the hotkeys.







Oh and since I was on Therum, yes I did get the same "cannot unsee" shot like I did on the other FemSheps

Yes, I know. Apart from some minor tweaks, and the skin tone and eye color, she's the same as Athene (who is the same as the original Artemis). But, a.) as I've said, I'm too used to the voice with this face, and ii.) I like this face. Definitely not as gorgeous and perfect as the ones many of you have produced, but still. My Cmdr Shepard.

I do apologize for the blatent lack of Maddy here recently, just haven't had a lot of time here...and I'm running out of screen shots.

ELE was exceedingly gracious enough to take a batch for me (which she surprised me with) a while ago, since my digital camera and my 360 don't produce worthy (of my standards) screen shots.

Maybe ELE would be gracious enough to take a few more for me sometime?  :innocent:   *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

@ sable: hey thanks! and thanks for the support of the adept videos, all who watched. i really appreciate it. it was a fun project. i may do more gameplay vids in the future - who knows? it took me a while to feel competent enough at adept to have something useful or instructive to say.

i honestly hope the gameplay doesn't change too much into ME3. while there were a few weird quirks here and there, i think ME2 is one of the most balanced games for play, difficulty, challenge, enemy AI, fun classes, useful squaddies, etc. you know it's good gameplay when you just kick back and enjoy it and don't fight against it the whole time.
