One little tidbit I did like was that the Reaper *acts* like a Reaper, meaning Sovereign and rightly views Shepard as an annoyance, the same way one would a roach that defied pest-control. But at the end I was left with a feeling that, if this had been given proper development and writer-resources, the Arrival theme would have made for a much better Mass Effect 2 than the whole Collector side-trip.

I remember reading how renegade players felt they were pushed to play paragon during Lair of the Shadow Broker. I don't feel like I was pushed to play renegade in Arrival, but I feel like I was pushed to play some version of Shepard that wasn't my own. When Hackett first calls Shepard and says the Reapers are involved, Shepard's reaction is to lean back and essentially go "Yeah. So?"Captain Crash wrote...

Ok so Arrival then. I was left feeling fustrated. Not because of any bugs or bad plotlines but because I felt Amelia had a personality transplant throughout the whole thing. She wasnt my paragon hero. I had no idea who I was playing. The lack of any emotional attachment this DLC has really fustrated me!! Amelia would never act like what the DLC forced upon me.

I've never actually shouted at my computer...seriously. But I saw this coming from a mile away and spent the remaining hour screaming, "I'm gonna shoot you so hard ****!"
Why is everyone in Mass Effect universe so stupid? One, for trusting Reaper tech. Two, for going up against Shepard, EVER. I did enjoy the background chatter "Shepard won't go down" or something like that.

Oh, but the Illusive Man tells you he has a feeling the Reapers are behind the Collector threat, doesn't even show you proof on how he knows that, and suddenly Shepard was all "Get me a team! Give me a ship! I'm on it!"
What. The. ...

And more railroading - you notice how Hackett suddenly doesn't seem to have *as much* of a problem with Cerberus now? Blech!
