By the way, did I miss something or does this now mean that the Reapers actually reached the relay right before it got destroyed? So the rest only have a little bit more time before the Reapers reach another relay? Also, how come that the blast didn't take some Reapers out if they were so close?

I guess they weren't in the system yet when the Relay was destroyed. Might have arrived minutes later.

I think the debrief with Hackett is what kills it for me. Shepard may as well be a cardboard cut out for all the emotion she gets to show after being forced to wipe out an entire star system and over 300,000 lives.

This is reason (as im sure you no doubt relise by now )  why I cant stand this DLC.  Everything else is overshadowed by this!   Im detached therefore cant enjoy it.  

Maybe I need to play it with my renegade femshep.  I am rather biased to Amelia's character at present so view the universe through her eyes.

I've got the same problem with Arrival as most of you have. It's not my Shepard in it. It's as Akari said.. The huge lack of emotions is what annoys me greatly right now. I expected some sort of reaction but what do we get?.. About no reaction at all.

The reason why Snippy is grimacing is because of all the atmosphere being sucked out the game experience because of whiny players trash talking

I agree that Arrival definitely wasn't as good as LotSB. I also felt like there should have been a bit more to it. I did still enjoy it, however. After playing through it with Moira, I felt as if it fit her a little better than Holly. I believe they wanted this to be more of a quick thing, while LotSB was it's own full blown adventure. Still, the lack of control in certain parts of it (when it comes to dialogue) is troubling and it is a bit rail-roady. It also makes me feel like it sets a much darker tone for ME3, which I was expecting.

At least I have some new material to work with! That's always a bonus.

I wonder how on earth they're going to justify multiplayer. SUDDENLY, SHEPARDS! EVERYWHERE! A WHOLE HERD OF THEM! ...Herd? Pack? Flock? ...umm...

I'll probably ignore it, but hey, the people who are into that kind of thing can have fun with it. If I manage to get my friends playing ME3, I might play a few multiplayer games, but that's doubtful. And knowing my friends, we wouldn't end up shooting each other, we'd just walk around going "no, MY Shepard looks way more awesome!" for at least fifteen minutes. (Then shoot each other.)

I am totally loving all the pictures here. Hee!

It took me FOREVER to find a period base image that really "spoke to me" on this.  It did however just "flow" like no other.

I also got a wierd bug after controlling the security mech and recovering my guns where my zooming through my sniper scope would not intiate bullet time.  Made sniping those fast-moving targets rather... interesting.

Okay, I'm not the only one.  I thought I was tripping out for a second.  It was a weird adjustment since I wasn't expecting it.

I feel pretty much the same way about Arrival.  It wasn't horrible.  But I doubt I'll play it a second time.

Eeeep!  Also I'm reading every spoiler I can get my hands on.  I just don't care at this point, I want to know what happens.  It also might say something about my faith that I feel the need to buffer myself for disappointment.  I read some pretty meaty DA II spoilers, and I think I enjoyed the game more because I wasn't blindsided.

I pretty much do the same as Ele08. I'm going to read spoilers without a single doubt, i'm still disappointed in Arrival and need something to confirm that Bioware push ME3 in the right direction. For the time being i'm going to continue to annoy myself with my talent in creating bad FemShep. I've been playing default Shepard for 3 months now and everyone here got so amazing FemSheps that i just have to create my own
