Lol that's some reaction alright I think my shocked Sheps would either killed everyone or ran crying back to quarters with whole team (with instruments and still singing) chasing

I'm going back and playing through again as a Vangaurd on NG+ (thanks Gibbed!), which is actually a huge PITA since without upgrades Vangaurds can't really go crazy with the charges. Plus playersonly doesn't stop the charge animation so I can't get the awesome screens I envisioned <_<  

But still, first time going through the game taking screens, so I am compelled to post a few.

When you get the Normandy, Bioware doesn't hesitate to show you all of it's assets


I love the Garrus reunion, one of the few times in the game you look genuinely happy!




Shepard always keeps her guns. Always. (Except when you get knocked out for 2 days and break out of jail with an elaborate "assuming direct control" joke)


And then the boondoggle on Horizon. Though I was able to roleplay through this part of the game fairly successfully last year. Took a lot of rationalization though


Myddine is not happy watching Kaidan go.



And then the Arrival DLC activated automatically when I checked my mail   . Luckily this playthrough is for combat gameplay purposes.

i dunno, i think part of my total "yeaaaahhhhh" reaction to Arrival was that I played it DEAD LAST. I fully intended it to be my final save of the game, a place to rest Kyrie before her ME3 import. For that reason, being told to get in dress blues and get ready for a political sh*tstorm sounded about right. I didn't even bother to talk to the crew.

I read the destructoid review of arrival, and i think it was a good one. i liked arrival, but i can totally concede the point that with just a *little* more effort at dialog here and there, it really could have gone from "good" to "amazing" as a bridging DLC.

i'm going to stand by my opinion that i really liked it, but i'll admit, there are a number of places it could have been fine tuned to be even better.

from a femshep point of view, however (to keep it on topic) i was happy to see it didn't have any glaring moments of femshep getting left behind. if there were any less polished moments, they were equal for male and femshep.

Now when i have calmed down and thought about Arrival, I agree with your opinion if it only was a little more effort in the dialog time to time i would say it was an amazing DLC. But it's for certain a good one. Trying to find the right face for my Shepard gave me time to think it through and i actually like Arrival quite much now

haha yeah but my Shep is a singer. So she loved that her crew would take the time to do that for her. C'mon peple read it!!!!!

You didn't do badly at all.  I would suggest, however, that a different screenshot of Shepard with the lighting reversed would fit the picture better, since the lighting in the photo is coming from the opposite direction of the lighting on Shepard's face.

That's why i finished it in more than two hours. I don't rush and like to explore
Now i'm on second playthrough with Alix and this could take even longer because i'm frapsing some footage.

^ it took me a while because a) my computer kept crashing (i seemed to hit a LOT of bugs in that DLC) and i kept dying. >< insanity and new maps and no squaddies made sage a dead duckie most of the time.
