I did a romance w/ Garrus w/ my main femShep (Paragade/Colonist/Sole Survivor) just to see what would happen.  Out of all the possible ME2 romances, she and Garrus have the most in common.  Thing is she does love him, but only as a friend, so unfortunately the romance felt cheap.  I do have to hand it to BW in that the romance felt like two lonely people trying to find solace in each other, if only for a few moments.  And the Mordin sex talk was hilarious.
 
I did try a Thane romance w/ another femShep, (Renegade/Earthborn/Ruthless) and she connected w/ him, didn’t feel pity, but liked his “attitude” I guess you would call it.  When he began comparing her to his dead wife however, that killed it.  My main femShep feels concern for Thane and is a little tempted, but knows what she feels is more compassion that anything else.
 
I imported a third femShep (Paragon/Spacer/War Hero) from SaveGames and she will be a Kaiden girl.  I liked the character, but my main femShep saw him too much as a brother type for anything else. 

As for Jacob, my main girl likes him as a person, but nothing beyond that.  Unfortunately BW really dropped the ball w/ Jacob in two major ways.  First, and most disastrously, he was forced on femShep due to Jennifer Hale’s flirtatious tone. btw, she said in an interview that she is nearly helpless w/out directions, so the fault does fall on BW.  Secondly, Jacob seems to have been designed to be a mystery that was meant to be unraveled.  Unfortunately, he comes off more standoffish than mysterious.  Jack is by far the best example of unraveling a character. 

My main femShep really wanted Ashley, but that was not in the cards.  Ultimately she ended up w/ Liara and a broken heart.

I am curious as to how much fanart i see for femshep and thane/garrus. i wonder if it's just a reflection of all fans, or the fans who like art like to draw those guys or they just look so cool? i find it an interesting trend.

Well I had a semi long and well written post....but it didn't go through and it's gone so heres a summary:

Jacob (in my opinion) is the best male romance option for Femshep because he falls for femshep Only after you persist and it's not (After three talks) :I love you and I know you love me so before we go on the mission let's go to your cabin and shag like rabbits". Thane's romance was emotional, especially during the love scene (and he owes Femshep a new desk) and garrus's was kinda...eh andI'd put staying loyal above romancing Garrus with Jacob's romance being the best male option (maybe better than Liara's since my Femshep left Liara for Jacob) for FemShep.

my FemShep .. is not very stoic at all  let my Male Shep  have all the Stoic Sarcastic bad assery... My  Fem Shep is  outspoken, witty,  and goes for what she wants... she not  ashamed to take a peek Garrus in his armor while in cover... nor Kasumi for that matter... Yeah she  romanced Liara  ME 1 and GArrus  ME 2 so yeahs she  goes for both men and women

Hah. My Shepard wants a shot at Admiral Hackett. He basically had her at "Commander Shepard" the first time he hailed the Normandy. Not that I'm allowing my unhealthy obsession with Lance Henricksen's voice to dictate whether she romances anyone at all, of course.

i LOVE hackett! uh...yeah. my femshep likes military men. emphasis on men. much as the aliens are cool and all, you can't argue with so many millenia of evolution and, um, drives...

ahem.

i think my shep doesn't know what to do with herself in "down time" - she never gets any. she likes country music though. colony kid. no accounting for tastes.

If you go with your gut, you usually end up with a higher Renegade score. I did an ME1 playthrough like that, and apparently I'm a Renegade.

Actually, even the neutral options, they have a tendency to lean towards the Renegade side. Try doing a playthrough where you always pick neutral conversation options. You'll be a Renegade.

Don't care a thing about BW merch, so I just sent a donation.  Now if they release LotSB in the next two weeks and add that, Holly and co. could buy PAX.

Ok really really really sorry for the quality of my femshep, my camera is rubbish. Plus being a console gamer is bad for this type of thing...



Anyway meet  "Amelia Shepard" :happy:    











She is still a work in progress, about 4 hours work so far, haven't finished tweaking her and to be honest I already think she looks far too similar to a lot of other femsheps so may start from scratch.       Not sure what class to make her or if she Paragon or renegade...     I need to make up my mind   


However I quite like her name, so thats the only thing im sticking with so far.     Feedback and advice wanted even if its negative I want to make her better so fire away     The screenshots are only from the first hour in the game btw so if you need a couple more to pass judgement let me know.  Or if its easier for you pc gamers you can check her out in game her code is:   [...]   Dont mind including it because its going to change a bit still :happy:

hey, all decent looking femsheps start to look alike, i think. it's because if they interact well with the underlying animated mesh, they have to fall into a certain parameter of variation from the default femshep.  so yeah. all femsheps start looking like sisters, imo.
