How badly did I do? :D

Rest in peace Elizabeth Taylor.

You didn't do badly at all.  I would suggest, however, that a different screenshot of Shepard with the lighting reversed would fit the picture better, since the lighting in the photo is coming from the opposite direction of the lighting on Shepard's face.

The lightning was somewhat difficult. I tried to recreate the original shadowing, I screwed up the nose shadow.
This is the original.

I used this image. I had to play around with the eyebrow a bit since it was partially covered by the hair.

But all in all, it wasn't that bad considering that it was my first time doing that. PSP9 still does the job for me. :D

It's quite buggy.  The Witch Hunt comparisons are apt at least in that respect.  Not only did I crash twice, but my sniper zoom time dilation vanished after controlling the security mech, something a lot of people seem to be experiencing.  Apparently people have been experiencing problems with the Vanguard biotic charge too, something I can't verify since I'm Vanguard-less.

Wow, you did a good job.  That's a wierd photo as Taylor herself almost looks like she was Photoshopped in.

Okay, so this is my first real attempt at photoshopping even a little bit (and it's a very little bit) but I enjoyed this. Just Kyrie at her desk, post Arrival, saying a "Alrighty then. Bring on Mass Effect 3 already."

^ it's from lotsb so the frame actually didn't have a picture at all. i added one in, and i don't like the crosseyed pic from before. it's the one nice picture of him before he starts yelling on horizon. :(

i think kyrie got it from her hard-suit's data recorder and framed it.

or we can pretend its a gift. or something. i did really love the picture of kaidan in the capt.s quarters - and the faithful "romance" scene with it pre-suicide run. for all that the VS-lovers got thrown very few bones in ME2, that was a little gift from the writers/devs that i held onto very tightly.

I hear ya. According to soe us VS fans are crazier than any other fanbase and we're only 5% of the entire fan base so we can't complain, even a littleImage IPB I do enjoy the picture gazing scene though, evne though I ahven't seen it in forever since I tried all the Me2 romances after my faithful playthroughs.Image IPB

Oh goodness, I totally just started playing LotSB. The voice acting in the skycar chase is hilarious and completely spot on, to the point where I wonder why anyone ever bothers playing male Shep when FemShep is so awesome.

After that, I really, really, really hope that ME3 starts out with a trial. It's a great setup for a 'murder, arson, jaywalking' joke - she'll be on trial for conspiracy, trading military secrets, killing all those batarians, etc etc., and driving without a valid license.

Nice photochopping, Sage, Tup3xi.

And since people always seem to comment on the lack of screenshots from ME1, here's a couple. I've been going through the game again getting some footage as I'm going to  attempt to make a video. I expect it to be rubbish, as I have never done any video editing what so ever. Still, I'll give it a go. :)

Glad your enjoying it Harpalyce :D its an awesome DLC!

Anyway the Alliance cant do squat to Amelia. Shes a council Spectre and the Alliance have no jurisdiction over her!! ^_^

Ahhh now we have a problem now dont we Bioware. :pinched:  Guess the Council retracts her spectre status for the second time if the Alliance put her on trial...

So what? We were never destined to be a a spectre then?

hmmmm maybe I was being to harsh on the personality change for Arrival.  The writing could already be on the walls....

Nope im right!  Because if im wrong thats the worst plot kill ever!!   :?  Oh I hate Arrival so much!!

Goodwood has a question for all you FemSheppers out there who romanced a squadmate who was not human, or who see Shep in your headcanon as having a lasting relationship with a non-human. This thought has been rattling around in his brain for some time, in fact since he decided that Liara was the canonical love interest for all Sheps in his own headcanon.

Basically, it goes like this. Warning, somewhat long story coming up -- tl;dr-type people might want to skip to the last paragraph.

The year is 2203 (Earth standard date), Jane Shepard and Liara T'Soni are living in a house on Mindor in her old hometown, long since rebuilt. It is morning, and the two bondmates are lingering over their breakfast as the pitter-patter of little asari feet beat a tattoo throughout the upper-middle class dwelling.

Shepard (shifting her shoulders slightly): "Liara, I have a question for you, if you don't mind..."

Liara (smiles slightly): "I get the feeling this isn't about where we're taking the kids today, Jane."

Shepard (somewhat uncomfortably): "Well, it is related to us, and to kids. It's something that's been bothering me for a while now."

Liara takes Jane's hand in hers and gives it a gentle squeeze.

Liara (reassuringly): "Jane, whatever is on your mind, I want to hear it."

Shepard (hesitatntly): "I'm not really sure how to ask this, actually. With humans having two genders, male and female, and asari having only one..."

Liara: "What is troubling you, Jane?"

Shepard (pause): "I guess it's a cultural thing, but it seems to be too nebulous. I don't want to offend you..."

Liara (smiling): "Trust me Jane, these past years have thickened my skin quite a bit. Ask away."

Shepard (sighs, then slouches slightly in her chair): "I want to have a baby."

Liara (slightly confused): "Jane, we already have four children. We could afford a dozen more, but I'm not sure I can go--"

Liara falls silent at the look on Jane's face, a sort of sad glance that conveys to the asari that she has misunderstood the question.

Shepard (straightens up in her chair): "It's not you who I want to have the baby -- it's me."

Jane stands, then takes her breakfast dishes to the kitchen and takes her time with them as she gathers her thoughts. After seeing to them, she returns to the table and takes her seat.

Shepard: "I'm almost fifty, Liara. By human standards in this day and age, I'm nearing the end of my childbearing years. Two hundred years ago I would have already gone through what we call 'menapause' and that would be that. You know and have experienced the pleasures involved in bringing a new life into the universe. But I need to have that too, just this once, before it's too late. A human child, one that has grown within me, and to whom I can give birth."

Liara (looks at Jane with a mixture of fascination and sorrow in her eyes, mulls over these thoughts for some time before speaking): "I can see how this has affected you, Jane. The Goddess forbid that I keep the need to have children to myself. How would you like to proceed?"

Shepard (flushes with relief at Liara's understanding): "Actually...I haven't quite planned that far ahead yet. There are options, but I wanted to explore them together..."

SCENE

Basically, Goodwood wants to know if your various FemSheps would ever want to have children of their own, borne of their own flesh, if they were to enter into a lasting relationship with a non-human (whether or not that person is on her team). He sees this as an interesting aspect to such a relationship, and feels that his FemSheps would indeed feel the need to procreate naturally, either through artificial insemination or a surrogate partner (get your minds out of the gutter). And he thinks that Liara would certainly be understanding about it.

I have considered this. Lili would like to have children, yes, but her being with Garrus...that makes it even more impossible, seeing as they can't even eat the same food.
So, Lili would find a way, if it was okay with Garrus. And, she'd make sure to adopt a Turian child. She wants a family, she'd like to have a child that's blood related to her and that she had to bear. (I wrote a fanfic about it, it's not finished yet, of course. Link)

@Goodwood

An excellent question. Honestly, Holly probably doesn't know. She can't look that far ahead, not with the Reapers looming on the galaxy Horizon. The man she loves is dying, which makes things even more complicated. I suppose what I'm trying to say is Holly lives in the moment. She treasures the time she spends with Thane. Their relationship gives her strength. I think the fanfic I recently wrote (that is in my blog) shows that fairly well.

Now, hypothetically, if the Reapers are stopped and he is somehow saved...

Thane has a son and family on Kahje. She'd want to meet them, get to know Kolyat better. Her squad feels like family to her, so I'd see her actively staying in contact with all of them. Especially the case with Garrus, who holds a special place in her heart (it would be fair to say she loves him, but the words would never pass between them).

It's difficult to describe, but my FemShep tends to put the needs of others before her own. Having a child is a thought that would pass through her mind, but not something she'd pursue at the cost of a relationship that means everything to her. Thane has already went through that stage of his life, so I don't see him asking it of her either.

I could see Aislinn adopting a child with Garrus, if that is something he'd want.  Not giving birth wouldn't bother her.  Moira, on the other hand, probably has no interest in children.  She's pretty much the opposite of motherly.

Constance definitely wants to have little blue daughters with Liara.  I could very much see them settling down together.  As for giving birth to her own child, I don't believe it's something she'd pursue.

EDIT:
So, I gotta admit... Arrival is actually starting to grow on me.  I just played through it again for some footage.  I sort of noticed there are a few shots where Shep hesitates, shows a little remorse.  Especially when the computer informs her she's about to kill 300,000 people.  There are a few sad expressions in her conversation with Hackett. I got myself into a better mindset after writing my fic, so maybe that's why I enjoyed it a bit more this time around.

Still feels short and makes me want to play ME3 really, really bad.  :P

one thing all my femsheps share with me is their lack of desire for children. well, I suppose Jill might not be adverse, but she'll be fine without. its something she and Thane would have to discuss. Simone is to carefree and impulsive to ever want anything that would tie her down like that, in fact if Garrus ever wanted children, it might ruin the comfortable relationship they currently have.

the rest are with human partners (Jewel has no partner at all), so even if they wanted children, it would not be an issue (I don't see infertility in their future, just general lack of desire)

That is indeed an intriguing thought. Shep is, in essence, a zombie -- albeit a zombie still possessed of a human "soul" and sans the compulsion to eat brains -- and that can have long-term effects that are still unpredictable. For all we know, Shep could walk through some hidden degaussing loop and drop dead because her cybernetics or whatever suddenly shut down. Considering this, it does seem like her chances of still being fertile are somewhat on the low side.

Still, as you say, Miranda having such a thing to deal with herself...
