Great job as always, Jean Luc! So far it's looking very nice. The bubblegum hair that the game ships with gets really annoying after awhile.

Oh and since I was messing around with mods this evening, here's another shout-out to ELE's and scampermax' texmods.

On a serious note, though. One thing that's been bugging me ever since Arrival was Jen Hale's VO performance. Don't get me wrong, she knows what she's doing but the actual dialogue itself seemed so much more...wooden. What if that is all she's given to work with in ME3? Will our femSheps end up becoming just as soulless as Sheploo?

Yeah but that's what happens when you let Marketing run the show. What worries me, after DA2 is how much pull Marketing seemingly has with design. If anyone remembers the Sacred Ashes Blur trailer for DAO, it had rogues hopping around doing backflips. Many thought it looked rather foolish but look at what happened in DA2? I can't help if ME3 will have even more of a "retooled by the network" feel to it because EA are still obsessed with beating Call of Duty and the ME team seemingly being denied the opportunity of creating games that rely on the one that came before.

 Can I just say that answering these little questions is incredibly fun? (Is? Are? ...Sorry, I'm 3/4 asleep. Me fail english? Unpossible!) I have one of my own I want to ask, but I'll save it for when I can tack on a silly picture.

I think my Delia Shepard would pretty much have the reaction of "What is it? What do I do with this? Oh God it just puked on me!" to babies. But (given that she's a spacer) I also imagine that her mom has a running joke of asking when grandkids are going to pop up. Since she's in a relationship with Garrus, I expect he'd be understanding - it would be her that would actually say that pregnancy isn't something she's keen on. I can see her adopting, though, or at the very least acting as a foster parent, for turian kids as well as human. But to get to that point, the universe would have to be a very safe place indeed. Until then, she'll just go visit friends and play Crazy Favourite Auntie Who Gives Awesome Gifts.*

Lia wouldn't, but not because of a racial thing. She wouldn't want children because she's seen all the bad stuff the universe has to offer from the raid on Mindoir and then the attack on Elysium. She'd be very reluctant to bring a child into this world given the life she's lived. She also doesn't really consider herself mom-material, so the love interest would have *a lot* of work ahead of him if he wanted kids.

Over sexualisation of a character to draw in a crowd.  Sex sells.  On the plus side with no Marketing for femshep we dont have to ever worry about this happening.

Never seen her in that light and hopefully never will.  I think Bioware know that she cant be overly sexualised without alienating her fanbase.  Thats not who she is.  If anything I want her armour to get more realistic! 


Doesnt mean a girl cant look good or sexy mind!  In the right context and situation of course is key here.  ie, those intimate romance scenes.  Not a firefight!  Im sure all our femshep have something in there wardrobe for special occasions.     Still thats the kind of thing that should remain behind closed doors.  Or left to our imagination.  The fade to black worked well in that regards. :happy:

Erica, who romanced Kaidan, wouldn't want kids.  It's not that she doesn't like kids, actually she does.  In her words, she wouldn't want to "bring a kid into this piece of smoldering sh*t of a galaxy." It would be a cruelty that she couldn't live with. Age and being w/ Kaidan for X amount of years might change her mind, but I doubt it.  Besides, she's an Alliance soldier. She doesn't plan on dying in bed.

Jessica would be aghast at the idea of giving birth herself.  She's never considered having kids (well, she has, every woman has at one time or another, but she's never considered it seriously), and doesn't think she'd make a good parent anyway.  She didn't use the "Marriage, old age, and a lot of little blue children" line at all, she's a natural pessimist and ME2 only increased that tendency so the "even if we win, you and I won't get to see the parade" line fit a lot better.  She really doesn't believe that she'll make it past the end of the Reaper War and even if she did she doesn't think the galaxy is a very good place to bring children into.  Added to that is her background growing up on Earth, which hammered into her the belief that she herself is the only person who can be relied on to take care of her, as well as a lively horror of being helpless in any way, and since there are few situations she can think of that would make her more helpless than having a belly growing constantly larger and heavier over the better part of nine months, pregnancy itself is something she equates with extreme and unnecessary risk.

Her views on children themselves will change once Liara has their first daughter, but she'd be perfectly happy to leave all that messy pregnancy and childbirth stuff to Liara for the rest of her life.  She's way too independent and would be much more comfortable as the one taking on the role of protector and provider, rather than being forced to rely on Liara to do that for her.

Hrist wouldn't want her own child. She'd be perfectly happy being a father to "little blue children".  After all they would still be her child, even if they don't technically carry any of her genetic code.

Which I suppose would lead to another question for those who have a femshep who romanced Liara:

If they were to have a child together, what would your femshep have their daugter refer to her as? Would she have them call her Mum, or Dad?

Well, Jennifer has some commitment issues because of her parents. They got divorced without telling her, until she got her implant when she was seventeen, and even then, they didn't tell her...then they threw it out in the open and she just wasn't ready, ever since then, her ideas and thoughts about marriage are all shattered. Although she does love Kaidan, she isn't sure she can handle marriage... let alone kids.

So..maybe? It'd be hard, but I guess once she manages to get over those feelings and actually marry Kaidan, she'll want the whole thing. It just won't be easy for her.
