Rewrite as always. I hope that the Geth may actually be useful against the Reapers in ME3. Same goes to Rachni.

Nope, she Kaidan's girl.   They both have similar backstories and talents so their friendship blossomed into something more <3


My ME2 Shep Romances. 
Jane Shepard = Single   (Waiting for Sniper!)  
Laura Shepard #1 = Liara then Garrus because I was mad (pre LotSB of course)
Laura Shepard #2 = Liara
Amelia Shepard = Kaidan.

Kaidan would have to convince my Shepards to even concider kids, poor guy, hopefuly he's chill with not having any.

Except those people have two human moms, not one human female and one mono-gendered alien for a parent.  If the child in question were human, they'd call both Liara and Shep mom.  If the child were asari, Liara would be the mom and FemShep would be the "dad."  It's all a matter of perspective.

I would assume the one which doesn't physically bear the child is the "father".  Not that it matters--semantics.  And the terms "mother" and "father" aren't really relevant to the asari since they are all female.  I'm assuming when Liara speaks of the "father species" it's a rough translation from asari to english/human whatever language we're assuming Shep is speaking.


RE: Children.  In this one instance my Shep's are about on the fence as I am IRL.  Most of my Shep's see the Universe as a rather crap place and wouldn't want to bring another life into it.  Besides other complications,  Caroline is a committment-phobe, and Teagan had a crap childhood and doesn't think she'd make a good mom.

heh, i love the idea of femshep being "dad." i think even if femshep had human kids with kaidan, she'd be a little sterotypically dad-like (polishing a shotgun if ever her daughter brought home a boy).

kyrie and kids? i think she'd tell you not to ask her now - maybe not to ask her ever. having kids take a certain faith in the future that i don't think she has. it ain't gonna happen unless the galaxy gets saved from the reapers, and then, who knows? i feel like a lot of her future is up in the balance now. i/she can't answer questions like this until ME3 gets here.

I think I said Kallen would love to have kids after defeating the reapers. If she was with Ashley or Miranda they would need a donor since they can't do the asari thing *both women give Jacob a predatorial glare* and then do some medical thing to get some of the nonPregnant partners DNA into the child so I guess they could steal whatever research Miranda's dad had to do so. I could also pick Kallen as the Dad type with a shotgun for anyone her kids brought home.

Child: Mom, why'd you have to scare them like that?!
Kallen: cuz it was fun!

So a question for you all - Tup's geth re-write got me thinkin' - what decision from ME1 or 2 are you MOST curious to see the outcome of? They could be the ones you felt most conflicted about or just the ones you're really curious to see how they play out, even if you'd never in a million years do them differently.

hmm...I can see, oddly enough, the Conrad Verner decision where you tell him to go back to earth and be with his wife (I beleive the paragon choice in ME1) and then telling him in ME2 that this isn't a job for a civilian (right). i think I heard Me3 is 2 years after ME2 so in that time he signes up for the alliance and is suprisingly adept in Combat and helps out Shepard against whoever the foot soldiers are in the war.

Conrad: I told you I could do it Shepard *headshots two husks with one bullet*

I can honestly say I'll pause the game just to laugh my ass off.

Not really a single decision, but a couple. The whole geth/quarian situation has been set up in quite an interesting way, I think. Hrist told the quarians not to go to war with the geth and blew up the Heretics, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that all plays out.

Will the quarians ignore Shepard's advice and try and take back their homeworld? will the geth utterly destroy them if they do? If they don't go to war with each other, will they put aside their differences and fight the Reapers? What happens to both sides afterwards, assuming they both survive? Do they come to some sort of peace agreement and the geth allow the quarians to return to their homeworld? Or do they go at each other in a winner takes all battle royale?

Should/could be an interesting one anyway.
