Jenny's a spacer, and her mom would probably look at her all disapprovingly if she mentioned getting a tat (while surreptitiously rubbing her arm...She never wears anything sleeveless...
Sorry for my long post, but I couldn’t help chiming in! *And sorry for thepost edit! - was a weird format for a mo' there*
After hearing a bit about the Arrival DLC, I’m a bit worried about my femshep, since I know she isn’t going to take this well...
Given her backstory of leading the mission on Torfan, only to have some Elysium born soldiers lead by an officer who was a Skyllium Blitz veteran and Cerberus sympathizer orchestrate a massacre of the surrendered Batarians, she's got a '
thing' about massacres. It chaffed her in the aftermath that the human media made the murder of the renegade officer with a point blank warp to the face when he proudly declared that justice had been done seem a greater crime than the murder of injured and unarmed prisoners.
In a political move, the Navy courts ended up ruling in favor of it being a temporary biotic malfunction during a high stress mutiny situation, but that didn’t stop both alien and human conspiracy theorists from speculating that the officer was murdered in cold blood to take the blame and cover up 'The Butcher's' war crimes. After all, dead men (without a Cerberus budget) tell no tales.
(Yes, I cribbed SHAMELESSLY from the AraL “Butcher of Komarr” Vorkosigan’s backstory from Lois McMaster Bujold’s book Cordelia’s Honor [which I highly recommend for people who like to read about strong female characters, in space or otherwise!] I had to figure out how my PARAgade (with a capital PARA) came to be known as the butcher of Torfan, and given my Sheps’ response to Miranda when she brought it up, it
seemed to fit the character too well!)
If she thought being the butcher of TORFAN was bad enough…. Chakwas better break out the Ice brandy, I anticipate a lot more drinking for Jenny in Mass Effect 3!
