of course, in the fanfic i wrote shep as turning liara down simply and politely, but in the canon kyrie run, i got the blasted confrontation scene. i'd never seen it before, gave up on ever actually triggering it, and then when i DIDN'T want it and deliberately tried to avoid it, I somehow got it. >< ugh. good screenshots, to be sure, but i felt AWFUL.

Yeah... I really do like the nice way of turning him down, because I like his back-story being more personal (e.g. learning the name of the girl he was in love with and finding out it was her whose arm was broken by his Turian instructor). It's just annoying that you have to wade through the mine-field to get there.


That said, HOLY AWESOME TRAILER, Aislinn!!! Simply excellent. Nice cuts, great use of the music and dialog. I almost prefer watching your trailer to actually playing the DLC itself.

ME2 Arrival FemShep Trailer  (Available in 1080 HD)

A few things of note.  It has a different flow than the original as well as differing dialogue.  I also used music from the DLC (and a few sound effects), from about 4 different tracks edited together.  I think it's a great soundtrack and was surprised they didn't use more of it in the original trailer.  I wish I knew who the composer was, haven't been able to find out as of yet.

It's a tad more spoilery, but not too much so.  I tried to make it feel a little more epic, emotional and slightly Paragon. Anyway, hope you enjoy it!

Oh, I didn't mean to sound snippy earlier.  My video did kinda go off into a more story-telling direction.  When I get into making things I kinda just go off and do whatever, then it turns out different than I intended.  Which was kind of the case with this one.

Like Aislinn, I usually go with the "It was a battlefield thing" if I haven't picked up Liara yet. Otherwise, I end up going with the choice of telling him my personal affairs aren't his business after we pick up and I start talking to Liara.

I hate to sound mean to him about it, but there really is never any point in the conversations before hand when I've felt that I was expressing any kind of romantic interest in him (which, to sound like a broken record, is why I find the "need time to process" line annoying, as it seems to come out of nowhere).

I and both of my current femSheps really do like Kaidan. And Ash for that matter. Is it strange that even now, after so many play-throughs, the decision on Virmire is still heart-wrenching, and I'm still not sure who I will chose for my 'canon' play-through for either character?

(I'm really considering metagaming that and making two different 'canon' saves for each femShep; multiverse ftw  )

To clarify briefly, though I go with "battlefield thing" in that situation, I don't like that option, because from both Athene's and Artemis's points of view, there was no "it" to even speak of being a battlefield thing, even though Kaidan somehow interpreted her friendly conversation as romantic come-ons.

But, I choose that anyway, because I think it's the only nice option at that point of the conversation if you find yourself there.

I agree there isn't much material, it would probably be impossible to make a trailer that didn't have spoilers and was also any good. My comment was also referring to the storytelling you mention, which I loved. Since it takes the story through to a conclusion of sorts, as opposed to being simply  setup, it didn't give me the 'trailer' vibe. Anyways maybe that's just me.

Renee doesn't have any. She's rather straight laced. She does clean up nicely, but would prefer to be in full/dinner dress military uniforms.
Nimue has a few. She's got one from the Reds, but I'm not to sure about the others.

2. Liara/FemShep romance. Only Renee, and she doesn't consider herself to be a lesbian. "Xenosexual" is how she puts it.

@ Interactive Civilian, I personally hate that choice, hate it. I've done it what, 10 times now, and I still tear up when I make that last choice :/ as for the It - I generally just go with mixed signals things and play it up as part of my Sheps personalities. you know they are flattered once they finally figure out what's going on, but not interested sort of thing? sometimes being nice is an encouragement of its own, as I have found out in real life, so blunt somewhat jerky replies work for me :/

Aislinn, I love your trailer, much more captivating then original even if its more spoilerish. heck, all of your videos are fantastic. Harby probably assumed control of whoever hit dislike.. or maybe their finger slipped? I could get Jade to shoot them for you



(I really miss the shorter, flatter bob she had in ME1 I would edit in Kalisah's bob, but I'm not sure if it will transfer into ME3, so longer fluffier bob it is :/)

There are people that will try to troll my videos just because they dislike FemShep, or are mad cause I used a custom FemShep in my video, or because I didn't rotoscope, or other such ridiculousness. I got some crazy comments like that on my Tank! video, which is why I have comment approval enabled. Trollish comments never make it past that point. It's actually kind of fun to read them at times, makes for a good laugh.

That being said, I will never stop loving FemShep and will continue to be an outspoken fan.  I will also continue to make videos because I like making them, like sharing them and find satisfaction when people enjoy them. Internet morons will not sway me.

i only didn't romance kaidan twice. once was first playthrough - missed half the game, lost him on virmire, didn't even realize he was an LI (i think i was half asleep most of that playthrough, for all i missed). second time i made a shep for garrus, and i just didn't talk to him. it was really hard, but only way to do it. (and in the end, i didn't finish her ME2 playthrough anyhow.) i had a shep i intended to have romance kaidan, but they had NO chemistry and i don't know why. that was the one where when he told her he wanted to help her, she just told him she didn't need his help and got offended. that romance ended there, as did the character. she was just a snob.

now, however, kyrie is so my headcanon, i don't know if i'll be able to make another shep. but that's okay. i got a few games to play and a fanfic to finish and my original fic to do. i think my freetime will be well taken care of until december.

Heh, I was a little intimidated by the other posters I saw with their 4-6 Femsheps.  Thinking to myself  "gah...I only have 2!  I'm doomed".  Good to know.  

So, this question has probably been asked before.  For 360 owners out there, do you guys/girls just use a regular camera for screenshots?  I'd like to get a few pics of my two femsheps and post 'em, looking for a good way to do it.
