Well this was a somewhat uplifting morning. I managed to find that low-res screenie of Ash' new look and I have to say it doesn't look that bad. Though it looks like they just stuck Miranda's...front onto her. I hope it is an early model, Ash is plenty sexy already! It just looks like they went in and gave her facemodel more detail. Dangit, I'll have to finish my dudeShep romance save now!. But I digress. I seriously hope femShep gets some love this time around. BioWare's Facebook team seem to be aware that lots of people love her.
And great poster edits, everyone. That background needed femShep to be suitably epic!

I know what you mean...though I have to be honest...it would show a level of maturity that Mass Effect has been lacking, if the cure doesn't suddenly happen just in time to benefit Shepard...

Actually, I did a bit of study on the female body rig and animation behavior in ME1... It seems that there's a bug. When you stand still with no weapons drawn, where there's a bit of an arch to the back, which makes the chest sink in. It all depends on bone weight rigging, which is probably why we don't see it on the FemShep modular armor.

Maybe it has since been corrected for Ashley's new getup. Maybe FemShep will do away with the surly linebacker walk/run that snuck into ME2 (and hopefully for DudeShep too, but it was especially jarring on FemShep).

If ME3 happens right after Arrival DLC, Thane should still be fine and ready for action. There's always hope~

well, doesn't it say in his dossier that there is a cure of sorts - a transplant and he just refused it before...maybe he won't refuse it now and there will be a convenient drell donor?

I know, but I just feel like she deserves a little happiness. And I don't know if MY poor heart can take it. If they made it something she had to fight for, I'd be OK with that.

Figures my favorite Shepard (and a Paragon at that) would be the one who doesn't get happily ever after.  She doesn't expect it, of course, but I'd like it!

quick interruption, sorry, since I saw the hairdcut above and it actualy looks normal, I wanted to ask.

I wonder if anyone can help me out with fixing it (so far suggestions form the modding thread didn't help ) I wanted to change Simone's hair from super short pixie cut (afro one) to classy hairstyle, but for some reason that strand over her forehead? its clipping into the skin. I changed all the hair textures as far as i know and the hair mesh, I tried to offset headbase, but that strand is still clipping any way I can fix it?

You need to reduce the size of her brow.  At least, that's my suggestion.  I noticed when making characters in the CC if you make their forehead too big it clips into that hairstyle.

With the Thane discussion above, it got me thinking... I really don't hope they end all the romances in the same way. Some degree of individuality would be fantastic. Not that I want the Thane fans to have to go through losing him, but a difference in the endings would make them feel more special, methinks.

Can you get it to look right in the character creator? If so, the easiest fix might be to create a new game with a dummy Simone with the right hair cut. Save the new game and open it in gibbed and then export the head morph. You should be able to then import that headmorph onto the real Simone.
