I don't expect them too, I just....there are some characters I just don't get.
Lili is just happy that Ash and Garrus are back. But she wishes Kasumi, Jack, Tali and the others were as well.
(With Ash's new look, I liked her better before. She seemed, well, Ash, now she reminds me Miranda in a skintight Aliance uniform. I'm sorta worried what the others will look like now....Image IPB I mean, the characters changed from ME1 to ME2, they have to change when going into ME3, but how much?)

Edit: Top of the page FemmShep.

The boobification of Femshep was more than noticeable from ME1 to ME2.

Sad thing is we probably won't be able to see what they've done with her in ME3 until the game finally comes out.

I doubt it, we have a strong voice.  When the ME3 forums open Im sure we will have a thread requesting confirmation on things we want/dont want.

In fact I already have a list on notepad which is sitting waiting for the ME3 forums to appear so I can post it! B)  Yes im keen!!

They'll likely reveal some more bit by bit. Maybe starting at E3.

Yeah, that's what I'm expecting.

@Captain Crash
Glad you thought it was funny.
Also, lol, yeah I made a list a little while back of what I do and do not want in ME3.

Not that it would bother me grandly... i'm not playing this to stare at her boobs.

Obviously, neither do I. Otherwise I'd rejoice. :P

I'm just concerned when they already transformed one female character to be more of a sex symbol, what will happen with the rest? There was already the noticeable lack of proper armor in ME2. And about FemSheps boob enhancement being more noticeable in ME2, I disagree. Not nearly as big of a change, although every bit as pointless.

A little late to the party, but from what I've read ME3 sounds promising. And no multiplayer? Thank god for that!

Also to note, Shepard still shares the same body mesh with most of the other human/asari characters in ME2. So basically the whole universe got a boob job in ME2.

I think we should stop jumping to conclusion because of one low-quality picture we've seen now seven to eight months before ME3 will be released.

I'm not so sure (that she got a boob job). It seems like it's only Shepard's armor that got the boob job, and that's due to having a distinct breast-plate, I imagine. Compare casuals:

http://cloud.steampo...4944741165C660/

vs

http://cloud.steampo...602037AF3FAFE7/

That looks about the same to me.

Now, compare armor:

http://cloud.steampo...4EC0B6928A2123/

vs

http://cloud.steampo...3E18A72AC3CDF9/
(sorry to repeat this image, but it has the best profile view to see what I mean)

There is a big size difference there, but I think that is solely the breast-piece being thicker on the armor, rather than it being larger boobs on femShep.

Now, Liara on the other hand... Can someone compare her casual models (I don't have shots available of her in ME2 in casual clothes... the boobs in armor are noticeably bigger, though)?

Here

I don't think the spoilers are particularly bad, but they're marked clearly if you want to avoid them.

@Interactive Civilian
Well that's pretty much how I see it. The difference in casual wear isn't that big if existent. Maybe I should consider actually typing what I think on occasion. However, on Ash's case the difference between her new look and the old casual look is huge. Let's just hope that's not her final design.

but, but, it's the VS!!!! it's SOMETHING about them post-ME2.

I won't jump to conclusions over that other than to say "That's very nice. I am smiling now."

yeah, a little bit on the "sketchy" side for spoilers, but hey, if that list of things are true, then there are several good thigns there: return to RP elements, returning squaddies, etc. (although, no tali on that list? hmm.... odd)

anyhow, thanks for the linky. i am off for a while. thanks for the vid stuff, it got to me fine, and i'll see you all later.

Incidentally, as a male gamer, I really gotta say that I'm sick of ridiculous boobs (and bodies in general) on female characters in games, and I think one of the things that got me about femShep was the fact that she didn't seem to be designed for sex-appeal.

She's got an athletic build, maybe more slender than one would expect from a super-soldier, but she definitely fits the part. I appreciated that. Alyx Vance in Half Life 2 is another character like this (though, obviously not meant to be a super-soldier).

Now, as a straight male, I can appreciate boobs as much as the next guy, and I don't always object to seeing them bouncing around. But in a video game where I prefer to be concentrating on the story and liking or disliking the characters, it's usually detracting and gets in the way, because unless there's a logical reason for it, it makes it hard to take the characters so endowed seriously.

Considering the boobification with Miranda, Liara (in armor, at least), and now the low quality pic of Ash (though we'll have to wait and see what the game actually brings), I hope they don't send femShep down that path.

I wasn't referring to Ash or Kaidan returning but how female characters will be transformed into a Miranda-esque catsuit-wearing femme fatale.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I agree. In fact, if there weren't the blurry caption saying that's Ashley, I wouldn't think it was her (not only the hair, but the face seems different, but that could be due to the low quality and blur).

I have a random stupid informal poll question regarding armor for Artemis in ME1: I plan on having her wear the N7 Onyx medium from the start of the next play-through up to the Spectre induction ceremony, at which point she will switch to her 'signature' armor for the rest of the game (and then, I'll probably try to get her ME2 armor to be similar in theme as her signature armor). This is mainly for my own personal story consistency, as well as "photography" purposes. But, I'm having trouble deciding her signature armor, so I thought I'd put the question to you:

Artemis is a sniper-scout/infiltrator/huntress. Which ME1 armor suits that best?

Right now, I'm contemplating between Duelist light, Duelist medium, and Predator M (all three of which I have *minor* issues with), but I'm definitely open to more suggestions. So, thoughts?
[edit] Difficulty: no heavy (I'm not a big fan of it; not a big fan of most lights, either, but I like mediums mostly)

(I said it was a random, stupid question)

For the record, Athene's signature armor is Colossus medium.

Actually, I did a bit of study on the female body rig and animation behavior in ME1... It seems that there's a bug. When you stand still with no weapons drawn, where there's a bit of an arch to the back, which makes the chest sink in. It all depends on bone weight rigging, which is probably why we don't see it on the FemShep modular armor.

Maybe it has since been corrected for Ashley's new getup. Maybe FemShep will do away with the surly linebacker walk/run that snuck into ME2 (and hopefully for DudeShep too, but it was especially jarring on FemShep).

</ModelerSpeak>

I don't think that's what it is.

You posted an iamge of the very problem I'm talking about.

Go back to ME1 with a FemShep and examine bust size while walking/running and while still.

Miranda and Samara both have the arched back problem too, I've noticed, but because they have nonstandard body models they must be rigged up to not exhibit this.

More protection? ;)

They should tone it down a bit in my opinion. It's somewhat weird since all the casual outfits look different in that perspective compared to the armour. So it has to be very thick. Camera angle has a lot to do with it too.

Aegis vest has clearly more stuff protection wise, so it's no that surprising that it makes them look bigger. Though, I personally think that the somewhat ME1 shaped version (for the boob part) of it would have been better.

I'm not a huge fan of armour breast implants but it's no where near as bad situation that, say, Samara's outfit.

@MadCat221, a sunken chest doesn't turn an 1/x curve to an -x² curve.

Maybe you should provide pics illustrating your point.

@Tup3xi, in my opinion every boob armor looks dumb regardless of size. There are plenty of examples that makes the idea pointless except for the obvious reason: so men find her totally hawt. Below: Joan of Arc, the Trung sisters, female Hawke.

Your BD? In that case happy BD to you.

Nose bleed? I've never managed to get one without brute force and even in that case I had to use sharp objects (finger nail). Don't ask what I was doing.

Obviously we do, though, I'm not a boob armour fan myself. I don't like too "hawt" armour. It's good to have some differentiation in the armour design in my opinion as long as it doesn't look distracting, overly sexy or just impractical. However, differentiation!= massive boob cups. I don't really know what would be uncomfortable or impractical in this case, for obvious reasons.
