Sweet! I haven't been on Twitter in ages so I wasn't aware of this.

She totally has issues after all she has been through. She tries her hardest not to get close to people so is mostly professional with her squadmates. She's also trying to deny the feelings she has for Liara and so is going to be romance-less in ME1 and probably ME2 unless there is an option to romance Liara in the DLC. I doubt it though.

How is it, may I ask, that I haven't posted on this thread before? Am I tripping? Have I posted here before, and just forgotten about it?
It is possible. My memory is like a rusty sieve these days. >.>
Anyway. Introductions out of the way, I absolutely support FemShep. I've had a fondness for strong female characters, particularly in leading roles, since I was very young, and over the years I've gotten rather attached to Hale's portrayal of our Commander. It's a shame how little recognition she's gotten in the official promotional material; I suppose if nothing else one can chalk it up to 'action' games still largely being marketed toward men.
Thankfully, the fanbase seems to be more than willing to give both the character and the VA their due.
As it should be. :3
MOVING ON.
I notice some showcasing of Custom!Sheps going on in here. And by god, if there's one thing I'm good at, it's jumping on a bandwagon.
Meet Vielle, my former-Paragade-now-mostly-Renegade canon!Shep.

...Also, art. I has it.
I could show you. c:

Yes... I remember when we found out that it was playing dress up that was supposed to 'make femshep players very, very happy' my reaction was:
Because, of course, when you're a strong, capable, badass soldier - who happens to be a woman - the one thing that will make your life complete is... a new outfit! <_<

Oh... to be clear, I've nothing against wanting different options for modding and personalising your FemShep. What annoyed me was the suggestion that out of the whole DLC this was the one element that would appeal to FemShep players in particular. I just found that slightly... no, very patronising.
No, I definitely agree with you. I was more interested in Kasumi and the guns (which my Soldier!Shep couldn't even use

Nice art, Ash! The last one is especially great. Is that a picture of Shepard during the brief instant she awakens on the Cerberus operating table? The one we see at the beginning of ME2?
Yeah, I think that is my fav. Great face.

That bugs me! What can't a soldier use an SMG?!? *Rage!*
