PS: Captain you might want to turn up your in game brightness for screenshot purposes. At least for me I know screens always come out darker than they seem in the game <_<

Mark Vanderloo is the model they based default Shep's face on. I guess Sheploo is catchier and shorter than 'default male Shepard'.

The face behind Default MaleShep is a Dutch model by the name of Mark Vanderloo.  Thus, Shepard/Vanderloo = Sheploo.  

But FemShep's equally more awesome.

Already have actually :happy: This is my first wave of screenshots which I did over one session without really checking there quality. Thanks for the advice though, because nothing is ever just easy is it!  In game the shots look fine but the outside they are quite dark.  


This screenshot below made me alter it when I saw it out of game 





Oh Sheploo is the generic looking male underwear model thats appears as default in the game and on the advertising.

I am currently guiding Audrey the infiltrator through her "ultimate" playthrough.


Nobody listens to Audrey anymore, and that makes her grumpy.


REALLY grumpy.


But then she saw someone she knew and had a happeh!


Then she was harassed by a Krogan and was grumpy again.

Ok, maybe not. I was thinking about what I really liked about Dat Smirk. And I guess it's really just the confidence coming off of femShep there. She knows what she's after and she's gonan get it, obstacles be damned. I also like that there's some tenderness worked into the scenes that follow it.

Yes, which is why I adore the Garrus romance.  It's so awkward and sweet.  I know some people think it's weird, because they are both different species.  To me, though, it just feels right.  Like they belong together.  I especially feel that emotion slipping through when I play Aislinn, then with Moira I like to imagine she goes all soft around Garrus... but that's something she'd never admit.

I've never done Garrus' romance but I understand where you're coming from, I've seen his romance on Youtube and it has something sweet about it, it especially shows how this whole thing isn't really about blowing off steam when you reject him in your cabin, again I never did it, but I saw it on youtube.

He was so adorable in a heartbreaking way when he was rejected...it truly meant something for him, and I could see how it is developing slowly into something much deeper, maybe we'll see it in ME3

I didn't romance him because my only Shep, Jennifer, is a Kaidan girl through and through...I do have another Shepard "Jessica" who romanced Thane, but that's about it.

I actually watched the rejection in the cabin for the first time on Youtube yesterday. His parting line really killed me. 
"I'll let you get back to work, Shepard, and I'll be there when you need me." Even when you're rejecting him, his first priority is in telling you that he's loyal to you. Garrus, you do not make this easy, my friend. Since a lack of trust was what soured me on Kaidan in the first place, this turns the knife another rotation.

I have to say one thing: the ME writers really know how to turn a girl's head. Well, most of the time, anyway.

you should see Kaidan rejection then its equally sweet, though it doesn't stop the romance like it does with Garrus. I posted a comment on your blog, explaining how I felt about Kaidan in ME2 situation, but I can see how different people could react differently. the only thing I don't get is the hate.

I think I already explained my take on Kaidan's rejection...but I understand why other people don't like it..I have to agree with Jewel tho, I just don't get the hate

I completely understand those who were able to be a lot more understanding when it came to Kaidan. I wanted to be. My Shep's just a little... tempestuous, despite being heavily Paragon. And even then, Garrus totally lured her in by making it sound like a casual thing. If he'd professed eternal love right off, like Thane did, I would have been a lot more cautious going in. But what's the harm in two friends having some fun together and nobody gets hurt? Then, before I knew it, it was all headbumps and implicit trust and repercussions for the future.

I read your comment on my blog, too, and it makes perfect sense. Though for me, the fact that Garrus needs me to keep him on the straight and narrow is... appealing. My favorite love triangle always involves a completely upstanding guy, a sort of chaotic good girl, and a guy with questionable morals, who only needs guidance to stay on the path of good. Do you reward the guy who's already got a strong moral compass, or do you help the one who needs you? Choices, choices!

If anyone's curious, here is my horribly long blog about my Femshep's emotional arc throughout ME 1 & 2. I swear I have never identified this closely with a video game character, Femshep is amazing.
