The original plan was to create a site w/ pics, videos, fanfic, a forum, etc.  That just hasn't worked out.  Part of the probelm is that I have no idea how to do CSS and database stuff.  Sable even created a wonderful mock-up (the logo on the Ning thing is his), but things just haven't panned out.  The Ning Community may replace the zeta board, not sure yet.  I don't like the way the Ning board does the forums.  There was talk of getting a PHP board anyway.  I do plan to redirect the femshep.com to the Ning board at some point.  More on this later.

Impossible to keep up with this thread, but I'm seeing some fantastic screenshots and great discussions! Hope I can catch up this weekend. But then there's that pesky tax deadline...

In the meantime, my new FemShep Enid is slowly making her way through ME1. She's definitely begining to assert her own personality. Much edgier than Rhea:

Thanks. I've noticed, however, that she doesn't seem to smirk as much as a lot of the other, very excellent, femSheps in this thread. It seems to me that this is due to this mouth shape, I think. Or is it simply that there isn't as much smirking in ME1?

Of course, I haven't done a play-through of ME2, where femShep seems to smirk more than in ME1, for a long while (not since just after Steam got screenshot capability), as I've been trying to get Athene (my canon vanguard) and Artemis (my canon infiltrator) through ME1 and up to level 60 for ME2 import (it's a testament to how much I love ME1 that I am in the process of essentially doing 4 consecutive play-throughs of the game, and I still love every moment).

Anyway, in hindsight, I wish they'd smirk more, though overall I'm happy with this character design, and am so used to it that I can't bear having Hale's voice on a different face. But, then again, maybe I'm wrong about this mouth shape and I'll get all kinds of smirky goodness when I get into ME2.
(in case you missed the many times I've pointed it out previously, my femSheps are all twins apart from eye-color and skin tone)

It's a common spot where Shep looks real cool. Or at least is trying to say "Uh, Fai Dan? I have four anti-thorian gas grenades left, just hold on and-"*BLAM*"-stupid cutscenes."





Another common screenshot area is when you run into Powell on Eden Prime.

Now that you mention it, I think there IS less smirking in ME1.  Maybe it's the mood lighting that discourages it:


=sigh= OK Kaidan, I admit it - the lighting here is, um, affecting me...

Seriously, some mouth shapes seem more inclined toward smirking, but I've sure noticed more smirking in ME2.

Some faces are harder to make than others I've found. I've been tinkering around seeing if it's possible to make a lucy liu duplicate, and it's tricky! Some things I just don't think the creator is capable of at this time unfortunately. I'd love it if in ME3 we got the additional sliders that DA2 uses for example, then... well then I imagine Femshep might just get -too- pretty.
