Might as well start teasing the stuff i'm writing.

This thread gets so much activity stuff gets lost just trying to catch up. Can't count how many posts I've made that nobody responded toNow, to give Mara a new look, that doesn't look like my Cathryne... even if she is awesome:

Oh sure, I'll just go throw myself at the batarians after what they did to me on Mindoir... I did the universe a favor, and that was just wiping out 300,000 batarians!

Hopefully we will have tons of FemShep badassery in the next year!

@aimless
Like the sketch! I need to draw some more, too. Soooo much to do, though. Wish I could just magically be done with stuff... and stop thinking up ideas for new stuff. XD

I've certainly wasted my share of time on these forums recently, but at least femShep gives me impetus to work on my sketching skills [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie] Poster mockup, maybe if I'm not lazy I'll get around to polishing/coloring the darn thing.
EDIT: Note to self: be wary of grays that blend into the BSN background [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/angry.png[/smilie]

Considering my photoshop "skills", this is not bad coming from me.
A good way to get good action shots in combat (assuming you are only going for stills) is to map your PlayersOnly binding (which pauses the game) somewhere quick and convenient. For example, I have it bound to "R" in ME1 (haven't decided what I'll bind it to in ME2 yet; maybe "T"). That way, in the middle of combat, when you are being all kinds of awesome, just tap it to freeze the action. Or, another option is to use a SloMo binding in a similar way. I ususally use both. I'll freeze things as they get interesting, and then use SloMo to find the right frame for my shot.Khaos2000 wrote...
Playing around with flycam, still not that good at it and can't imagine trying to use it in combat yet! Want to get some adepty shots of her though.

I don't really like the brightness setting either. Anything above the default setting makes the picture sort of washed out.
I found a tweak that adjusts the games dynamic shadows so they don't appear overly dark everywhere. Here is the post. There isn't that clear instructions so here you go:
