Finnish swear words. Those "seamless real-time translator" things go nuts and she enjoys that. ^_^

Country Music

Kyrie was born colonial, played 3 sports, ran a baler, wore Wranglers (yes, they are still around in the 2170's), and was part of the FFC (Future Farmers of the Colonies). She's a total country girl at heart.

Hmmm Jen would probably fangirl over video games and tech, old and new...lets create a strange multiple personality paradigm and say she really rather fancies Solid Snake from the MGS series, not that she'd tell anyone.
Although in seriousness I can imagine her and Kaidan having total nerd outs about omni-tools, biotic amps and weapon mods (ME1: 'ZOMG? IS THAT A SAVANT X...shiny...')

But on the multiple personality note, I still think killing reapers would be a doddle with this line-up:

and maybe we could add some DLC ala 'Recruit the Mutant' and get Phoenix onboard just for the overkill...

Cara's primary influences and inspirations are

1) Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) from Fringe. IndigoWolfe pointed out to me that they bear a strong visual resemblance which was not originally intended. Character-wise, they are very similar in that they both maintain that hard exterior and prefer to remain emotionally distant from most everyone around them, and also they both are constantly pushing themselves to be better.

2) Cara from Terry Goodkind's Sword Of Truth book series (pictured here as she appears in the television series Legend Of The Seeker; Cara Shepard's influence was from the book character, *NOT* the TV character). Book-Cara's described appearance was the biggest inspiration for this Shepard's face, and of course they share temperaments. Like her namesake, Cara is short-tempered, a pain-freak, and loves red armor.

Punk Rock, especially the Clash.  She's still searching for a mint vinyl LP of Longon Calling.

I had to do a pic of UJ when she was 16 just for this question.

you know, I never really considered if my Shepards would fangirl over anything..., something to think about.

on a different note, I have joined the darkside, I heard you have chocolate chip cookies?

I have rolled a femshep for the purpose I never thought I'd play one. it started out as a conversation about ninjamances and ended up with birth of Judith Shepard, paragade, spacer, war hero, a woman he was just trying to get out from under her mother's shadow and ended up doing that a little too well, uncomfortable and exasperated with all the unwanted attention she started getting after Skylian Blitz - so when she was offered a spot in n7 program, she threw herself wholeheartedly into the training. Judith is my first (and possibly last) character ever that's going to be in a same sex relationship. I have trouble role playing characters who express romantic inclinations so different from my own, but at this point I cannot NOT roleplay my Shepards. so I had some help figuring Judith out.

Judith will end up with Liara, because she's the first person who sees her as just Judith, not hero of the Blitz, not Hanna Shepard's daughter.. not commander Shepard, the first human spectre, but simply Judith. Judith loves Liara, because she's the only person in her life who doesn't want anything from her, but just be with her.

Aww this is awesome.  UJ was adorable.  I mean I doubt this is what she was going for, but she's so cute.

Also, my brother had the same haircut in high school.  O.o.

She can borrow mine whenever she wants.  Not mint, but no skips and just a little crackle and pop.

Commented on the pic over at FemShep.com where I saw it first.

My Shepard is obsessed with classic science fiction, especially from the 50s and 60s. That's why she jokes with Kaidan and Ashley about aliens judging humanity from our old vids; Ash, of course, responds with a quip about a tinfoil miniskirt. In general, Jane likes old TV and movies. Despite a tendency to prefer SF, her favorite movie  is Roman Holiday, which she picked up in an Extranet pack of uncolorized Black and White classics. She downloaded the pack for "the Blob," but fell in love with Peck and Hepburn.

This lead to her developing a bit of a fondness for the cheesy Science Fiction romantic comedies of the early 2150s. For that 8 years of glorious, unbridled exploration, Humanity's whimsical fascination with the possibilities of space had a new renaissance. After the first contact war, everything went back to the old "scary aliens invade earth" format, which was somehow less fun than it had been two centuries earlier, when we didn't know any better.

(Not that everything she found was wholesome: at age 12 she was searching for "Cult classic science fiction 19**" on the extranet, and pulled up a vid of the Rocky Horror Picture show. Assuming it was just another monster movie, she thought it was funny when everyone started singing, and just got increasingly scandalized as things went on. She watched the last half of the movie with her hands clapped tight over her mouth, and one eye on the door, hoping she didn't get caught. It left her feeling vaguely sheepish for weeks.)

Given all this fascination with old science fiction, her Senior paper in secondary school was entitled:

"This Actually Went Pretty Well, Considering: a History of First Contact in Human Cinema."

Akodoryu I congratulate you for managing to make a very nice femshep with those eyes. I have tried thousands of times, but my femshep still looks like a monster with her eyes crossed. :D

I'm sure it's not that bad :) It's a pretty set of eyes

Marge doesn't look perfect every time, I'm used to say there's just a few places where something weird is happening.

But this got me thinking, is it a matter of how far apart are the eyes set? And what difference would it make if I'd play with imported character instead - because during the Lazarus I seen some differences.

femshep question! what is one thing your Femshep will fangirl over, no matter how embarrassing?

Nope, nothing, she's that boring apparently.

Me: Marge, there's a knitting set, wanna try?
Shep: you gotta be kidding.

While you'd have to give up Charge to do it, there are folks who make "Old-School Vanguards" out of the adept class - or Shotgun Adepts shotgun+singularity+warp+throw.  Mr. Bozorgmer, who put up the Power of the Adept Thread has a bunch of youtube vids on this.

It's a bit of a compromise, imo, given that the new singularity works pretty differently than it used to, and you give up on the skill of charge, which is a lot of peeps new favorite, but I've seen it done. Was skeptical at first, but it can be done.

then again, I'm learning to use pull more, and it's a really handy skill too, when used right.

I share this sentiment.  Love that research paper title.

edit: I don't think Jessica "fangirls" over anything.  Fangirling, to me, is squealing and bouncing.  Like when you hear all that screaming for certain American Idol contestants.  Ugh.

She is a tech-head, though, and really loves taking things apart and customizing them to fit her tastes.  In most cases that's weapons and armor, but it goes for software and computer systems, too (her geekery is more on the electronics side of things versus the hardware side).  If she had any training, she'd probably be up at Tali's level with AI programming, too, but growing up on the streets she had no real opportunity to do anything related to AI and after getting into the military the only things they cover for N7 e-warfare training concerning AIs and VIs is how to neutralize them.

Well, I don't really want to change her class, also the ME2 Vanguard Skills aren't bad. It is just that the ME2 Vanguard doesn't fit with my ME1 Vanguard (at least from an RP Point of Playing, as she relied mostly on her Assault Rifle as on her few Biotic Powers).
Well, at least you can easily mod in the Assault Rifle for the Vanguard class ^_^

PS: Just love her eyes... <3

Finally got Artemis into ME2. As much as I really do love ME1, after 4 consecutive play-throughs (2 each for Artemis and Athene to get them to level 60 for import), it does start to wear a little thin.

Ah well... ME2 from here on out (well, that is, when I can take time away from Portal 2 after it launches). Some pictures of the brown-eyed girl (no crazy fun flycam stuff yet... still getting re-used to ME2; just normal shots)

So... this is the new Normandy? I guess I can work with this.

I like this hair style on Artemis. However, it's annoying that there is one bang that seems to clip the forehead. Maybe I can just pretend that the stylist slipped up.
