Thank you to everyone who volunteered one or more of their femsheps for my wallpaper project. I've picked the five I'm going to use and have sent PM's to the people whom they belong to.

I got more femsheps offered than I could use, especially for the Vanguard slot which was the hardest choice to make.

Thanks to everyone for being so generous, and if I didn't use your Shepard it's not because I don't like them, it's because there are far too many awesome femsheps in this thread that picking just five was always going to be a hard task.

Thanks for the video! It was a really touching tribute. I found that part of the game very emotional -- and I hadn't even played ME1, so it wasn't like I was already attached to Shepard. That sequence made me love FemShep from the get-go.

I really wanted to blame EA for BioWare's decision to go with maleShep-only marketing, but it turns out it's been BioWare all along, making the "tough decision" to go with their marketing team's "intuition." They even brought out that sorry little "iconic" argument.

Dear BioWare: seriously, reconsider. I know you have to make money, but this is not the Right Thing to Do.

the first time i played ME1 i had little to no idea what i was doing. i "romanced" him without realizing it, only after leaving him behind (ash went with the bomb and i always go back to the bomb and then i realized how dumb it was not to send the tech with the bomb, etc., but i was nearly done with the playthrough)...

ahem, anyhow, when the sad music came on, it sort of hit me that he was supposed to be my femshep's something or other. felt like the biggest jerk ever. every time since have saved him. even when i tried to make femsheps for a ME2 LI - and failed - I couldn't leave him behind. there's too many practical reasons not to, not to mention the not-so-practical chocolate-armor-for-science reasons and all

I seriously doubt that. Note that the translations were done with google translator. I think that part is really about the class specific melee powers in ME3.

They use that same forum post as a source. Journalists are just human and also prone to mistakes. Still, I could be wrong too. I hope I'm not. Adding a new class in the last game would make absolutely no sense and a melee class even more so.

Heavy Melee is probably a class specialization.
