That picture is just gorgeous. This is one of those snaps that make my own shots look like ass in my mind.

Please recommend some (free) image hosting site for me. Organizing pictures on Imageshack is a pain in the arse and the site is sluggish overall, so I might want to move away from that. I'm thinking maybe Photobucket or Picasa? Does Picasa even allow direct links? A bit offtopic, but this is very much related to my femshep screenshot spam.

Agh, another top post.

I just imported her into ME2. She's my
Shep for all the things I never did in the ME games. She romanced both
Liara and Kaidan and ultimately chose Kaidan. She later left him on
Virmire. She also killed the Rachni queen. She is also the most
"conventionally" attractive of all my femsheps and the only one to be
significantly altered from game to game.

Could never do it, I don't even keep my other Sheps, just my Jennifer and that's it :D

(Ooh but I did keep Jessica because I love Thane)

Happy Easter to the best Easter egg in gaming :D

Just thought I would show off my femshep:

Garrus: You do realise, Shepard, that a sniper is targeting you as we speak?
Shepard: Yeah I know. But what's the point? This guy forgets who he is dealing with.
Garrus: Yeah, you have a point.

You can link directly to Picasa images, as that's what I use to upload all my screenshots. The only problem with Picasa is that it shows images scaled down by default when you view them. It's easy to fix though and just requires changing a small section of the URL to get the full size pic.

To demonstrate: Click the images to see the difference in size and the URL

Image IPB

If you look at the URL for the top picture there's a section that says */s912/*. This is the part the dictates the image's size. Changing it to */s0/* will give you the full size image as shown in the second link.

If you have a gmail account, you automatically have access to 1Gb of image storage through Picasa. I've uploaded loads of screenshots and wallpapers and I've not even used 200Mb yet so it should last a while. ^_^

My small FemShep question. Probably because I've heard a lot of mood music today.

Would you mind seeing your FemShep crying at the end of the trilogy? No matter if those would be tears of joy, or sadness... I know it would be too much characterization if such scene could take place, and not much of players would approve it. But in ME2 Shepard rarely shows her other emotions (until LotSB), that it's sometimes hard to connect with her (for me).

I'd see gladly Marge wiping off tears while looking on some beautiful scenery, then turn away to her crew while hiding it. They could give some snarky remarks about her "finally showing a human face" or something while she denies it with a laugh.
That would give me a feeling of relief and more, thou I can't really put it in words so you could understand :)

Sure, if it fits into the situation.

Yeah, that would be a very emotional scene. My Jane won't allow herself to cry in someone's presents, but when she is alone...
I can see it something like this. The fight is over, Jane Shepard is alone on her ship thinking about everything what has happend... She misses Kaidan, She blames herself for Ashley, for other friends who died in the final battle... And then Liara (one of my Shep's closest friends) or Jacod (my Shep's LI) comes to her. They speak and then... Jane cries...
Image IPB
Well... Something like this... Sorry, somehow I got carried away...

Tears are something for behind closed doors. She needs to be strong, but a good cry into a pillow helps at times.

Depends on location and situation. I probably wouldn't want to see it. But a tear or two in a crazy emotional scene would be ok.

I agree with Crash.

Shepard might be the biggest baddest space marine around but she's still human and a few tears in private when she's not having to be "Commander ****g Shepard" are allowed at least in my opinion.

LOL Akodo! That's exactly how I imagine my FemShep's reaction to victory at the end. Everything she's been through since the whole thing started would come crashing down on her, and she'd shed a few tears for everything she's been through; death, losing people, pain, victory...everything.

Of course not while she's Commander Shepard, but just Jennifer, in her cabin...preferably in Kaidan's arms:wub:

I think this is a great idea, but one which should be implemented as one of several options via the dialogue wheel (you love it, you hate it), since a lot of players would simply not want their super-duper-badass-womanizing-emotionless-comic-book-heroine femshep to ever cry (no, I'm not implicating anyone here of such a thing, but there are femshep players beyond this thread;)).

Speaking for Cara, I think a spare tear or two would be in-character. After the whole Reaper war is over and done, I can see her as being unexpectedly, intensely happy; something she's not that familiar with.

I would not object to my femSheps crying, and if it's because Liara dies, I'll be crying right along with them.

(yes, I'm a pathetic sap. I have no problem with that ;) )

I think a few tears

Teddy hasn't had a lot of time to reflect, but by Arrival she'll already be a pretty broken wreck but she'll keep going

Only after the war, she'll weep for Jenkins, Ash, SR1 crew, those unamed lives that died defending the Destiny Acension, she'll cry because she got her squad/crew out of the SM, but hate herself for the lives she couldn't save at the base...

heck, killing those batarians will eat at her...

Same with Jennifer, except Jenny saved everyone on the base, but she'll cry for Ash, SR1 crew, the batarians thing is already eating at my Shep, but she has to stay strong, and most of all she'll weep for the trauma she had when she died. During the course of ME2 and definitely ME3, she'll not have the time to think, she just compartmentalizes and moves on till she has time for it later...later will be after the reapers when the very very very pricey victory is had.

I wouldn't object to a scene which shows her shedding a few tears, she is human after all, and she'll have been through a lot by the time ME3 concludes. Saying that though, it would have to be something that is initiated through an in game choice and not forced.

I agree, it would bring out a more vulnerable side. I'd love to see what she's like behind doors, how she deals with the decisions she was forced to make. How they've effected her.
