I don't see crying as an "on screen" moment for any of my Shepards. Some day when she is "home", it will all hit her.

Crying. UJ can almost get there, but doesn't quite make it.  I agree that crying is best left behind closed doors.  In my head canon UJ, when she can, will make time for herself and sometimes she will just cry during that alone time.  I imagine after ME3 she'll have to go into primal scream therapy. 

And if Liara dies ... she'll go past Bastila and straight into Dark Revan.

I could definitely see tears of relief coming out when it's 'all over'. Just knowing that, at least for a little while, she won't have the impending threat of galactic doom hanging over her shoulder has got to be a great relief.

The crying moment I can see is landing on Earth after it's all over, seeing people helping each other with the recovery, humans and aliens working together, rebuilding... that might wring a tear or two from ol' Jane's eyes. I'm a sucker for crying at happy endings.

When there' good enough reason she bawls like a baby (she cried over Kaidan dying on Virmire, but just with Ashley.) and She might cry after "Super" Horizon, I won't know until I get there. After it's all voer if she's alive and the reapers aren't, she'll be partying for a few years.

Well, maybe. Lili doesn't really cry in front of people, unless it's Garrus, because he's her LI and comforts her when  she needs it. Most the time, she cries when she's alone, it's just what she's done in the past. But yeah, she'd most likely cry in the end, tears of joy if she makes it out alive through it all (she'd also end up partying and drinking wine)

It's a subtitle, with Femshep being the title.

As explained in the first post, she's considered an easter egg because Bioware didn't bother marketing her as a primary game feature; all anyone ever saw was male Shepard. It was only after people played Femshep that it was realized there was a (subjectively) better side to the protagonist.

Thanks. That doesn't sound too bad. And the software for uploading and managing stuff looks way more appealing than all the web based crap out there.

I believe that crying is something more private, especially for a character like FemShep. I wouldn't mind the option to have the reaction during a more private scene, perhaps one with a love interest. I don't want FemShep to lack emotion... but she's also a soldier. She's seen and experienced so much. I'd think she realizes there will be time for reflection and personal feelings at a later time, because there is a galaxy full of people to save.

this I think..

at least my femsheps feel like they cannot publicly show emotion like that, anger, happiness, yes, but not tears.

tears are private.  I could see some of them breaking up a bit when the time seems darkest, sort of like with a locker scene from ME1 or telling Liara about your frustration after shadow broker (on the Normandy), but mostly... they cry in private.  they try to rage in private too.  Comander must be strong for her underlings, she must lead by example, she must keep the morale up.

I forgot to mention, if there was a scene where femshep cries, it should be quite private. Preferably with her LI if she has one. I think it would be out of character for any Shepard to really cry in public.

Anyways, does Liara say anything about Samara in LoTSB? She makes fun of all of your LI interests once you kill Vasir, but I never romanced Samara while I was romancing Liara...
