Actually, Liara's face structure is, from what I've noticed - I wonder if someone besides me sees it too - asymmetrical. It's pretty easy to nail NPC's with that face structure in game and there's not many. As for Marge, she often raises one eyebrow (it's what I usually do in real life and people are asking me how the hell I do that), but it never looks "uneven" for me in the same way as with Liara, unless the "frowned" eyebrow clips with the eye (happening in cutscenes while "aiming" with sniper rifles and few others).

I forgot to mention, that during many animations all faces are affected by some kind of deformations, for example - while holding a gun and/or changing clips. It's not a matter of FOV, I observed it many times, the easiest way is to compare 2 copies of 1 screenshot, while the second one is horizontally flipped.

Aaand, glad you like. I've been wondering if I should put the "unarmored" version somewhere, but it loses context and it's impossible to identify it as ME fanart without this characteristic feature, and I have no idea what caption could I add. Ideas? xD

My very first tribute of FemShep.  I'm not happy with the fact that Youtube really screwed up the quality of the movie. It's much darker on YT. <_<

No ideas really, just that I've had similar thoughts about doing more risque FemShep art. Once you get rid of all the iconic visual cues for Shepard or Mass Effect, all you've got is a naked lady really. Compound that with a custom Shepard, and there you are. I've noticed a lot of people get around this with some kind of N7 or Alliance tattoo. Personally I'm not a fan of just slapping that on there unless you figure it was there already.

I figure, either add something to the background that implies Mass Effect is the subject, a location or item, or keepsomething Mass Effect on her figure, like an omnitool...

We're going to extend it to a month and a half.  Not sure if that helps, but still want it to come out w/in a week or so of E3.

*Sigh*  Aislinn, your lady puts mine to shame.  I just can't quite a natural-looking face, no matter how long I spend in the CC.  She's amazing.  It is a toss up between Holly & Teagan as to who's better-looking.. . (Though I'm sure that sort of remark'll earn me a slap from someone somewhere... )

And you?  Enter a video contest?  With your reputation?  Surely not...

And yeah, Mr. V's FemShep noir is always a treat.  Akodo's artwork was... revealing.  Very nice art though, much better than any of my efforts (oh how I wish I could afford a new tablet at the moment!).

Hmm... for me, I started with a background and general vision for personality and renegade/paragon-ness - how it got fleshed out did sometimes surprise me. I felt like the Bringing Down the Sky DLC was one such moment - Kyrie let the hostages die, then it felt like she'd shoot Balak a time or two, but held herself back from actually killing him, and was both proud of herself and disgusted at herself for her loss of control. Just moments like that seem like the character is more their own, if that makes sense.

Question back (and much less deep): In making your character's look, was there any part of her appearance where you thought: YES! that's perfect! and was there another where you were like, "meh....i guess that's the best i can do for that."

IKR?! Mine was horrible! I was playing on an analog television, so it was pretty bad.
Once I got my flatscreen, and I saw her again... I was like "ewwww."
