I honestly have not come upon a more civil and polite bunch on the internet (forums, irc other discussion stuff) than the people in this thread. That's almost as large a reason to why I lurk this thread so much as my love for femshep. I have at times felt like an outsider amongst the veteran regulars of this thread since stumbling here a few months back. But as others have said, this thread moves insanely fast quite often and it's not humanly possible to comment on every single post.

I don't think the thread itself is particularly bad. I've mostly lurked - though I did attempt a sort of photolog playthrough of FemShep a few hundred pages ago that I never finished.

If I had to guess I think some of the outsider hostility - hesitancy is probly the better term - towards the FemShep thread is due to FemShep/Jennifer Hale fans posting outside of the thread, often during discussions over subjects that are at best tenuously related. I do my best not to apply my general dislike for the way said posters go about things to all big FemShep/Hale fans but I'm not always successful myself. It's human nature.

Heck, given the forum's general attitude towards both I've taken a more aggressively pro-Mark Meer (though not ShepLoo because who cares) stance than I actually have just to achieve some measure of balance. All that being said the thread - just like any other with a sizable enough community - has its share of jerks and offputting weirdos. But I haven't run across a thread that doesn't.

Well it's not a NG+ playthrough and the shot is from Grunt's recruitment mission, so hadn't picked it up yet. Not that I even have a save with Claymore before this, I'm bit of a Scimitar freak. Claymore arguably looks insanely badass in screenshots.

You can edit the coalesced.ini file to toggle flycam, which lets you move the camera around freely. This combined with a command for pausing the action enables you to take all kinds of cool shots. There is a wonderful quide to all things flycam by sagequeen here. Although I use the "Show Scaleform" command in place of "ShowHud", as it gets rid of the power hotbar also.

Damn it, sagequeen ninja'd me by a few seconds or so. That's some ninja skills you got there.

I see.

I was under the impression it was from the Arrival DLC, for some reason. Stupid me.

I like the Scimitar, too, but the Claymore is my favorite weapon in the game. If I'm playing a Vanguard, I can't have anything else.

I love the Claymore too. But you won't see it in many screenies because shotguns usually don't appear in cutscenes.
So far, I can remember only 2 places. The quarian crash site mission ending and somewhere in Overlord dlc.
