Look at it from the perspective of a newcomer. If he reads a title like this, he might think this thread is full of obsessive whiners, and might be turned off.

I'm quite a newcomer still to this thread and i can't see why anyone would think it that way but we're all different i suppose

Theres lots of newcomers in here though. Someone new normally posts daily or every other day at least. Which is what I find confusing because your making out its putting people off. Everyone (with the exception of today it seems) normally fits right in and enjoys discussing femshep.


But I will entertain what you and a couple of others are saying.  

So us peeps who post regulary appear to have an "in-joke" which appears hostile on the outside because no one but us gets the Easter Egg joke.  Ok thats fine.   But your stating your making a constructive critism but offering little to support it or at least offer an alternative.   You stated you dont like it but if your being constructive please offer another suggestion.   Its no wonder some of us think your here just to complain if you arnt offering any alternatives.

Im assuming this means a lot to some of you if are here supporting a case, (albeit out-the-blue when theres never been a issue before) but please offer something constructive. You say you are but it really doesnt look like it.

Anyway, I'm still a newcomer in here compare to those have been here for months, what my impression is this thread welcome everyone to join in, and they love their femshep! Some of you may think the jokes here are little 'overedge', but hey, that happen around you in RL all the time.

About the title of the thread, in my words, don't take it too seriously, if you don't fully get it, ask us why and we shall explain to you.

Honestly, this thread is moving way too fast to catch up, no to mention the numbers of pages has moved if you took a vacation for couple days. So, come in and 'stay' for awhile, there's nothing but lots of fun people in here.

I only felt a little criticism might be helpful but it seems to be attracting negative attention more than anything else. C'est la vie.

Critism is good, it helps the thread grow and evolve.  We want to make people feel welcome and take everyones points into consideration.  However coming into the thread outright complaining and not offering anything other then "I dont like it" doesnt help anyone and has caused discord. As said in my above post the critism needs to be constructive otherwise it just appears like your here to complain.   Help us by offering something and give us suggestions. Nobody appears to have done this so far.

You said earlier in the thread that you didn't felt welcome and that's sad to hear ofcourse. I'm still a newcomer as i quoted you earlier but you ignored and i've felt very comfortable and welcomed here. I've never been in a better thread.

Yeah, those crates are nasty. I once moved past right next to one. It suddenly broke apart and sent my flying right through the air for a few meters.

What the hell happened here? That thread title has been there for weeks and all of a sudden it's causing an issue? It's a tongue in cheek joke, nothing more. As Tup said, it's the content that's important, not what's written on the thread title. If you want to read more in to it than there is then that's your choice.

You can't just wade in to a thread this size, post once and expect everyone to know your name. It's not about people knowing you, it's about a group of people sharing in a common interest, that being femshep. Just join in and post pics of your Shepard or answer one of the numerous questions that people propose. Just because your post isn't getting quoted doesn't mean it hasn't been read. As others have said this thread moves fast at times. Today is a prime example. There were four new pages since I checked on my lunch break at work!

No one here is elitist or thinks there better than anyone else, in fact this is pretty much the best thread I've ever been part of on the internet. So forget the thread title, post a pic of your Shepard and enjoy yourself.

And I'm draggin these two images on to this page because there awesome and sum up what this thread is all about better than I ever could.

Captain Crash is complaining about those he/she thinks are complaining.

And I never said *I* felt uncomfortable here. I said that newcomes who read the title might get the wrong impression.
