Alright! Thanks to Pordis Shepard's directions I managed to get a few good screenshots of my femshep. Had to use the save converter but oh well.
Here she is, Alyx Shepard (of distant relation to one Alyx Vance, my favorite female video game character):
-snip-
I was going for a hawk-ish, predatory look. This woman kills for a living, I wanted her to look like she did while still being attractive.
Her eyes are bright green because they are the most piercing color allowed by Bioware's character creator. I like how her cheeks accentuate her eyes but that was completely unintentional.
EDIT: Hope it works this time.
Wow, those cheekbones could cut glass
I think you've definitely acheived what you were going for.
Thanks guys! Truth is the cheekbones themselves are as small as I could make them. What makes them stand out is the gaunt.

I'll just drop this here...
This picture reminds me of why I stopped taking biotics into combat in ME1.
There I was, fighting asari commandos when suddenly, Wrex fires off a biotic attack that hits me instead. Normally it woudn't do anything, but the instant I was hit by Wrex's blast, an asari commando hit me with a warp.
What followed was the most perverse distortion of the human shape I'd ever seen. Stretched in two directions and frozen in place with no recent save, I could only wait for the commandos to finish me off.
They fired and my stretched for took their bullets. My shields absorbed some but ultimately failed, leaving me vulnerable to weapons fire. Their shots chipped away my health but always at the last second when my health was nearly gone they stopped firing.
My health and shields recharged and I was forced to sit through three cycles of this before my distorted form was finally forced to succumb to the innevitable.

Tup, that is possibly the most bizarre shot I've seen in a while.
Good thing if it made you guys and gals go lulz.
Something less disturbing...

@Akari: I'm guessing you're referring to Lightning's real name there.
I'm not a big fan of the Kelly hairstyle but Claire does look great. ^^
Well done, Centauri. An Internet cookie for you.

Lightning was indeed the inspiration for the name.

When Shepard pulls out the puppy dog eyes, you know it's going to be one hell of a paragon interrupt.

Sometimes, when playing, i forget that Shepard is a human with doubts and weaknesses. She's almost a Mary Sue in that regard. I'd love to see femshep has a an emotional breakdown or start crying. Just nothing overly dramatic (like in JRPGs). Just a moment where she is the one who has to ask for help, not the other way around. The problem is, that people would take it out of context and use it to say negative things about the character.

Agreed. It would be a nice change to see the shoe on the other foot. Can't be the hero all the time.wolfennights wrote...

I think ME2 does a great job at showing the more human side to Shepard as opposed to the hard-faced Commander figure in ME1, especially evident with the reunion with old friends. Interrupts help, too. Overall Shepard was more expressive and I liked that a lot. I hope ME3 continues pursuing that path.

I almost would expect Shepard to have a break down at some point in ME3, if only in the stateroom or privately with the LI.

That's a good point. I've long thought Shepard is very much The Woman Wearing the Queenly Mask. The nature of what's coming (Robo-cthulu is coming to Earth to have babies), and that Shepard knows exactly what's coming, but can't say a thing.

There's an actual scene that femshep almost break down after she watch Kaidan walk away from her, she just barely hold onto herself....
You can see how she feels from the facial expression, I did made a small pic which she breaks apart and cry...

That scene always strikes me as Shepard trying so hard to contain the hurt. Any way you approach the Horizon dialogue, it boils down to Shepard losing a person close to her - closer than most, to some.Hyper_gateway wrote...

What really gets me is the subtle quirking of the brow in this part. I didn't even notice up until I recorded it and watched again.

Now when you mention it i can see it too! It's always hard to see Shepard losing someone that close but that little quirk of the brow makes it even harder to watch.
