The thread title (currently 'FemShep - The Best "Easter Egg" in Gaming') portrays a sense of...well, bitterness, to be honest. Don't you think it would be better to have a title that actually celebrates the awesomeness that is femShep instead of displaying such a generally negative attitude? After all, the title of a thread is normally the first thing a person sees and if it's putting forth this kind of negativity...well, let's just say that it really advances the pessimisitic attitude of some femShep supporters instead of actually enjoying femShep as a character in her own right.

I dont see it as negative at all. Kind of confused as to how it would be taken in such a way?

Or maybe it's just me.

Well maybe discriminating against blondes wasn't the best way about it. The way you wrote your "joke" wasn't well thought out if I say so myself.

How I miss that bun. My Shep had that on for my first ME1 run. I tried a different hairstyle (ponytail) in the second game and it just stuck. Anyway, lovely profile!

My comment was actually meant in sarcasm, but I understand if that wasn't how it came across.

Folks do come to this thread and tell others - in all seriousness - that Shepard is not a woman, not renegade, not paragon; Shep would never make this decision, wouldn't look like that (hairstyle, race, etc.), wouldn't romance him/her, what have you.

Part of what I enjoy about this thread is that the regulars avoid that sort of thing and really support one another in enjoying the game through the eyes of whatever custom femsheps they happen to have created. I suppose that does often give this thread a 'clique' feel to it, though I've found if you hang around and post a screenshot or original art or two, people are very responsive to it.

So to you, Clonedzero, I'm sorry my post came off much snarkier than I meant for it to and secondly, sorry to everyone else on the thread for engaging that comment at all. 

Moving on, Let's get back to femshep....

I think the most pertinent question to ask him would be: Is FemShep getting the same attention as MaleShep in the development process?

Edit: Although, now that I think about it, that'll likely just get a typical diplomatic reply and we'll get no useful information out of it.

I'm having such trouble trying to make a femshep that doesn't have one trait that annoys me. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png[/smilie]
so annoying to be an xbox player. I want her to be tough, I try and
make pretty shepards but then I find the voice doesn't match. So I try
and make her more like an amazonian warrior and then she looks wierd.
Any advice? I just get confused with the facial structure and stick with
the same one. She's an earth born ex-gang who's seeking redemption for
her life before she joined the Alliance.

Have you tried the ME2 faces database?

I found just seeing faces that I liked and then sort of playing around with them in the CC to see how they'd been put together helped me get a better grasp on what features I wanted for the "look" i was going for.

Also, if you're trying to avoid 'pretty,' it's good to take a departure from face shape #7 - it's rather petite, and trying out other face shapes, while they do require more tweaking to get them looking right, can give you edgier sheps. the really big eyes also look very kindly, which might be what you're looking for, while the mroe narrow the eye, often the more bada** the look.

you could also root around in the ELE femshep graveyard for one.
