Has anyone asked on Casey's twitter if Femshep will get a more musculine body? It always bothers me how thin Shepard looks outside her armor.

Agreed, but it looks like it's that way for ALL of the NPC's that use the same model.  I would definitely like to see some more muscle on FemShep.  Something like the Kasumi DLC dress (with elbow fixes) or the red dancer's outfit.

Good job. Good use of something other than Face 7 (from the looks of it) ^_^

Nope. It's face 7. :)

@Elanor1 - your femShep is cute. What's her name?

Thank you. :) She's Sonea Shepad. Colonist. War hero. Paragon.

Nice femShep. She's cute.

...

Regarding body types I was actually thinking about it writing a fic for spacer Shep Drea.

In-game, I don't mind having a standard average body type like they have now for every female in the game because it's easier to implement and likely uses the least resources. Having special body types just sounds resource intensive when I'd rather see it used elsewhere like better textures.

Since Shep is in armor most of the time anyways, I tend imagine my Shep's vary in body type from the standard model we get in the game.

Sage touched on it a while ago, for some reason different Shep's give her different impressions, despite the fact they all share the same mesh.

It seems psychological in part based on the personalities and class an individual Shep has.

Before I ramble on endlessly, I actually stopped to think about it for Drea while writing some fic for her.

She's an adept, and I designed her to be rather fair and delicate looking. I don't imagine her bulky and muscular at all, more of a slender and very toned body type, based on the fact she relies heavily on biotics. She's conditioned for endurance rather than powerful bursts of strength. As a pure adept, I imagine she also has a very high metabolism that keeps her from getting very bulky, kind of like a runner.

I think that had a point. Mainly, I think a lot about pointless stuff. Also, in my mind, I don't see femShep as having a set body type since there are several different types of fitness. For the purposes of in-game portrayal, I actually don't have a problem at all with what we have now.

You don't need to be bulky or to have typical gym arms to be super strong. An example.

Another femshep question.

Does She look up to any super hero's? (feel free to make some up if you're feeling creative.)

There was an article about a fitness model named Kim Strother a while back that I found interesting, both for the look into women's fitness and for the peek into the life of someone whose business is looking fit (and just how fit you have to be to do it).

Obviously this is different from femShep - whose fitness is a result of her job, not a defining part of it - but I thought it was a good example of someone who has a lot of physical strength and endurance without the  exaggerated musculature you might see on bodybuilders.

I agree with whoever suggested Gymnast's body - they are not as defined as fitness models (who amusingly enough look like female body builders of golden years), but they look like functionally fit bodies. fitness model sort of bodies require precision work and very strict diets in order to have the sort of proportions that they sport, I cannot see femshep spending that much time and dedication on the way her body looks.

better yet - MMA fighter body. - there's definitely some muscle visible, but it doesn't look like she spends hours every day at the gym just sculpting it

I think that's maybe a tad too much muscle on her arms for Shepard. She wouldn't spend that much time in the gym, methinks. Although, I wouldn't complain either, this build is quite attractive.

Oh, yikes....er, well Maddy was never into the Comic book or Super hero thing....she is more of a sci-fi kinda girl.

@all:  FemShep "Pop Quiz"

It's late in the afternoon, the misions are all done for the day and your FemShep has just gone up to her quarters after a long, hard day....

What is she doing with her "unwind" time? and, if she is listening to music, what song is she listening to right now?

:)  well concidering that femshep can punch out a grown Yagh and lugs around some pretty heavy weapons (including claymore and/or Widow for some of the classes)  I don't think arms like that are out of the question without hours at the gym.  I once watched a glass artist at Renaisance faire make vases right in front of the gathered people, in her portable studio.  she had arms like that, not becasue she was at the gym all day, but rather becasue she was manipulating heavy things with her hands all day :)

as for questions (it seems I missed a few)  some of my femsheps are more vain then others, but even Leah, whose idea of morning ritual is a shower and a basic ponytail - is vain enough to get rid of the scarring from Lasarus at a first opportunity.  none of them are really into comic books  and as for relaxing alone - it depends on a femshep really.
