I really didn't say anything, though. You'll see soon enough. And...rynluna wrote...

Nah. Don't worry about it. This discussion board does allow spoilers. As soon as I read 'Thane', I should have stopped reading.

So, have any of my fellow FemShep fans ever attempted to create a Shepard that is loosely based on a strong, capable and confident female protagonist from another sci-fi series of movies, video games, TV shows etc? In the past, I have considered creating a "Samus Shepard", based on and named after Samus Aran of the Metroid series, and a "Sarah C. Shepard", based on Sarah Connor from the Terminator series. I really should create those characters at some point.
One of my Femshep is named after Alyx Vance, the female sidekick in Half-life 2 and it's following expansions.
I know she isn't a protagonist, but I think she's a good female character.

Wait... Dark hair, bright eyes...
No, for reals, Motoko is too enigmatic to bring her into this game. But she totally kick ass. I'd try with another character of Shirows, but "Deunan Shepard" sounds just wrong... yes?

Hmm, a Shepard based on Ripley would be good.

Actually yes, I wanted to do a Shepard similar to Dizzy off Starship Troopers. She kicked Alien butt for most of the film

Actually there is a mod where you can get a berret, that may work if you can get the facial structure to match

Do strong, capable and confident female protagonist from a fantasy series count? If so, my femShep is based on my main character from my webcomic sreies.
EDIT: Did a Mass Effect/Dragon age homage here.

I have also tried to make a Zoe Saldana Shepard but it didn't look that much like her. You may know her from the latest Star Trek movie or Avatar

You know what would be quite interesting? Creating a FemShep that resembles Audrey Hepburn portraying Holly Golightly, from Breakfast at Tiffany's. Hah! This thread is resulting in me thinking up quite a few good ideas.

This one was originally designed after Sarah

Ironically, my own Shepard is heavily, heavily, heavily modeled off of Major Kusanagi (albeit S.A.C.-Major rather than film-Major). XD
More in regards to her behavior than her appearance, though I've had people occasionally point out similarities.
It doesn't hurt that Hale's voice and McGlynn's are very similar in pitch (and delivery, upon occasion).
Motoko would totally kick ass in the ME universe. You know it's true. :3
