I may or may not think new Shep is pretty (except I do.)  It's hard to get those eyes to look good.

Okay, I just have to share, and thank Hyper for this awesome 'gift' for Kyrie from Kaidan.  This is just terrific. Though it did take me/Kyrie a while to figure out how to run the file (neither of us are tech experts).

Here's the little background about this gift:
After Horizon, Kaidan realize how he badly hurt Kyrie by the words he said. He wanted to see Kyrie but there's no way he is able to find her apparently. So he thought sending her a meaning gift through Dr Chakwas will be easier to meet her in person given the current situation.

The pistol here is the very first Spectre grade Kaidan got from C-Sec after he got promoted. This particular pistol have already save his life for more than twice, as he recalled that Kyrie mentioned about getting a firearm as her b-day gift. (Yes, I have read that chapter ) He wanted Kyrie to have it as like the pistol will protect her while he's around. The gun is repainted, modified and reduce the Recoil force. Also the paint is darker than the usual which will fit Kyrie's black armor....

Well, that's the story about it.

Sage, I just finally got around to watching the Many Faces of FemShep vid and I'm just blown away. Really awesome job! It was fun to watch and I was surprised that you were able to tell such a followable story with soooo many Shepards flicking past. You turned (what seems like to me at least) a logistical nightmare into a slickly edited flow of fantastic Sheps.

Nice texture mods, Hyper and ELE. Though the current textmod craze is a bit of an odd mix. Custom guns and underwear? Whatever next?

@Akari:  I think it'll go wherever it can go.  The opportunites for Texmodding are great, though they do tend to destroy my framerates (damned ATI card)!

@ ELE:  Once again, another fantastic mod.  I dispair at my own inability to produce such things.

As an aside, my latest FemShep, Cara, is growing on me (particularly since ELE told me how to get the eyes. Thanks ELE!).  She's my most renegade Shep (of either sex) yet, and having trialled some of the responses on Omega, I do like them.

I have created a fanfic for her (the only Shep fanfic I've created), though I'm loathe to post it on ff.net as it's very dark (even though the 'action' is just Kelly and her getting pissed in the captain's cabin one night).  I might upload it somewhere and send a link to a select few (you know who you are!) via here and femshep.com to get their views before posting it or not.

You could always do what people like me have done: Go back to the beginning and do an alternate universe play-through with her making different decisions, a different class, a different back story, etc.

That's what I've essentially done with Artemis and Athene (granted, a lot of their decisions are very similar and only the classes, infiltrator and vanguard respectively, are different). And I'm thinking about doing it with one or two more, because I'm starting to think I want a femShep with a Jacob romance, given some of the videos I've seen of femShep getting to voice her thoughts about things with Jacob.

Maybe worth thinking about.

By the way, I don't think I've said it yet, so I'll go ahead and say it now: FANTASTIC work on that femshep video. It was most excellent.

Yes, that's Shep number 8. I think I decided her name is Miho, but I also like Nariko.  She's an Infiltrator. Earthborn/Sole Survivor and I'm still contemplating her alignment.

Hmm... well, i could do another kyrie playthrough, but it would likely be a 'get it perfect' run. i think this last run, though, i did/said everything EXACTLY just so. the only exception was somehow i triggered the liaramance in me1 and got the confrontation scene (to my horror - i thought kyrie had very nicely told liara she was interested in kaidan, but somehow i either hit a bug or something. did give me a nice screenshot or two, though).  and in retrospect, i feel like noveria should follow virmire. i don't know why, i just do. it's so cold, literally and figuratively, such a long, bleak place.  but then again, virmire before ilos gives extra weight or something to the decision to break regs. just sort of 'i don't want to lose you' and all that. and i never played pinnacle station...

BUT that's a LOT of hours that i may just dump into another game. i think if i were to do it again, i'd have to make a new shep. kyrie is just too much her own character to change her any and i would want to try a new class.

but then again, maybe i should just play, say da:o, which i have really never gotten into before.

That's how I play it. I feel that the last logical step before going to Ilos would be to get the Mu Relay coordinates. No matter when you do it, Benezia says she *just* sent them to Saren, and if you assume that that was the last thing he needed to get to Ilos, then everything falls into place with the timing. Otherwise, you have to assume that he'd just found the beacon on Virmire or he'd just got the cypher from the Thorian. The latter doesn't make sense, because without the cypher he wouldn't know he needed to find the Mu Relay, and I find the former hard to believe, as Virmire was his base of operations, and it was a rather well-established base (and again, without the full vision from the Beacon, he wouldn't know he needed to find the Mu Relay).

Also, ending with Noveria before going to Ilos really gives it a proper sense of urgency, IMHO.

Granted, this means playing a rather significant chunk of the game without whomever you leave on Virmire, but storywise, I think it plays best.

I usually do Feros -> Therum -> Virmire -> Noveria. I like doing it that way, because then I get the "some Asari mumbo-jumbo" before I get Liara, making for a better flow of "mind-meld" events (once after Therum, once after Virmire).

yeah. edited my original post and i think i took out my comment about doing noveria last, but yeah, totally feel like it wants to come last in my games. the thing that bothers me, though, is a few missions aren't available until after noveria, and i don't like doing anything prior to the run to ilos. wish you could just sail around after the game ends (like in me2) finishing off side missions.

Nice work sinapus.  She's looking good.  Such a natural-looking face too!  And I like the scar.

I just did a restart of Cara Shepard (my sentinel), as the ME1 choices weren't working properly (apparently she let the Destiny Ascension explode, though she actually saved it in the ME1 runthrough I decided to do for her... ).  When I did, I had the best glitch I've ever had in a game.  When she got her armour and pistol at the start, the armour did not change, so she went through the Lazarus Station in her Cerberus 'fatigues'.  Love it!   It feels a lot better than her running around in default N7 for some reason.  I suppose it's the whole " I don't have much time, grab weapon and shield harness and run!" vibe I get from it.  Anyway, a few pics from the many that I took:

Oh good. I usually go for "not looking horrifyingly ugly" and "not accidentally mimicking someone else's Shep" when I do these things. I think I succeed with the former more than the latter.

Technical question here if anyone is willing to indulge me: has anyone managed to properly import a fem Shep into ME2 when she had the scar that ran horizontally across her nose? I've tried to import two different fem Sheps with this same scar but they both reverted to default fem Shep's face.Will provide a pic if needed.

the only time I had issues importing a shepard from ME1 was when I removed the intro videos - no matter what I tried, she just wouldn't import correctly, not until I reinstalled ME2 with movies intact.

I don't know if it fixes your issue, but I thought I'd mention it.
