Very nice, Jamie! Did you submit it to the dA site? ; )

Yes everyone do that,  just to reiterate a post I made pages ago, the femshep zip files are no more.  Far too time consuming.  Plus femshep.com and DA are far better for it [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/cool.png[/smilie]

Oh and well done Sage, noticed I havent said it yet!! sowwy!   Totally well deserved :)

A lot of good femShep coming in these last few days. Hopefully more to come! :)

Anyway, I did a quickie cover for ME3 for the hell of it.

Saw this on dA earlier today and thought it looked really good. Well done, Jamie.

Dragging up a pic from earlier. I thought the Shep in this shot looked remarkably similar to my own Silmeria Shepard...

I think Bioware always believed the femshep crowd was a vocal minority, so continually dismissed it as a few diehard members.   I mean we can blind ourselves to whats said outside the thread, but really it is said a lot on the forums for quite some time.  The thing is its clearly not true and Bioware have just started to realise this.

Recently (as in the last few months) things have happened to counter this view point.  The femshep thread clearly being one of the most active and content filled.  The DA group having so many creative custom works.  The onset of the femshep website.  These things are attention grabbing.  Even though we wanted it and been asking for a long time these occurances are fairly recent.

Someone has clearly noticed and said "hold on a minute is this group a minority?" To which they clearly figured is No!   The femshep marketing comments and a poll on facebook isn't coincidence.  They are gauging how large the popularity actually is.  Bioware knows their statistics originally given are flawed (we know the points why and they stated its only a guide) so they are trying to figure out what the fan base is.  So far they have worked out its much larger then they think. Potentially up to a third of people prefer femshep, not including people who have multiplays. So Im assuming from this information they are trying to create a strategy on what to do next for marketing.    One in three people is hard to ignore after all and there a eager market to attract!  We know the reasons why shes great, so its in Biowares interest to capitalise on it.

So maybe its not a good sign, they should have noticed earlier.  But to be honest, I think they finally realised how big a fanbase there is and are attempting to figure out what to do next.  I take that as a good sign!

Fantastic work, Sage. I'm new to the forums and such but it's partially from seeing your video today! Completely fell in love with the look of some of those femsheps - be cool if Bioware made face presets like them...?

SageQueen: congrats on being featured.

IMHO, FemSheps's a redhead. However, because she's not been featured because of Marketing Drone oversight, I love that there's so many variations, and we can't agree on the One True Femshep.

Oh, and Renee would make me very unhappy if I neglected posting another picture.

@ meonlyred: :D ty. i am still grinning. and there are troll comments and 'dislike' of my femshep vid, so in this totally bizarre way, i feel like it's 'arrived'. my fave comments, so far:

"everyone know that there are no scuh things as female warriors"

and a few posts later:

"well clearly u dnt kno history lil kid cuz in the past there has alwayz been female warriors, uve never hurd of saint Joan of arc??? Enough said fool"

Ah, what can i say? the eloquence that is youtube...

Might also try recent examples like Leigh Ann Hester. Sergeant. US Army. Silver Star for Valor in combat. There are also a number of female pilots whom have flown combat missions in recent years.

Well, to die during the attack of the collectors. ;)

She learned she's not invincible. But that moment haunts her.

For Sarah it's no doubt Elysium. During the fight she did her best to buy some small children time to flee from the invaders but there's one moment that Sarah never will forget. It's this girl and her friend a little boy that run together but the boy get shot in the leg. Before Sarah can do anything the little girl takes up a small stone and throw it at the raiders and call out on them before she get shot by several bullets. Sarah vowed to never let anything like that happen again and she always push herself as hard as possible to save as many as she can, in honor for that brave little girl. Sarah feel that she failed that girl. Sarah didn't learn anything she didn't already know but even against those odds that little girl put herself in the line of fire for her friend and that inspires Sarah almost more then she can imagine

thanks and welcome, blaze.

man, better face presets would have been nice. did anyone ever use one of the given face presents? i'd almost forgotten the game had them. if they do decide to make some, i vote ELE08 to make the presents. she could just take them from her infamous femshep graveyard.

(many gorgeous sheps incoming:)

Operation Torchwood, eight years prior to Torfan, Cara's team was sent to an aborted, war-torn colony to rescue an asari informant from a biotic extremist group who turned out to be a double agent, causing the deaths of half the team. The mission failed because Cara disregarded their orders and executed the informant in the field. She was subsequently court-martialed and imprisoned despite corroborating testimony from her surviving teammates, as an olive branch to smooth over predicted tension with the Asari Republics.

From this she learned not to trust so readily, and reserved a special mistrust for asari from then on. Shiala was really the first she came to fully trust since.

She also learned never to accept half-measures when gambling with one's life, to commit everything to a battle, and not to rely upon the goodwill of her adversary.

I've been wanting to make my own ME3 picture for a while but never got around to it so I put last night's insomnia to good use. So with my limited Photoshop skills I present Kate’s main ME1 team who I hope to be able to run her with again in ME3.
