So, what do you guys/girls think about this level of customization? If another ME game were to come out, be it an MMORPG or RPG, etc etc, would you want this level and style of PC creation?

I can play a game with a silent protagonist, but I can't connect with them as a character.
snipping a bit there.
for me, again, it's not so much the silence, but the emoting of the face. you hit it when you mentioned the expressionlessness of da:o. revan in kotor did that strange...face-pulling thing, which was a little odd, but it worked for me. i actually got really connected to her as a character. plus, there was a lot about her that was "given" as a backstory (a LOT) that made her becoming this co-created character for me. and the disciple in jade empire also had that emotiveness that worked for me. plus i loved the fem-spirit-monk's strut. the way she walked just totally cracked me up. (mmm.... may need to play jade empire again just to watch that. plus iron palm technique animations on slender women ROCKS)
for me also, as i get near the end of da:o, it's also that i always felt...punked in that story. like you have no real power and can't really make any decisions. kill flemeth or not? she'll come back either way. ya know? so much just wasn't in your control. and yes, ME has moments like that, but there's a LOT where you feel like shep made a choice that is going to have huge impact. we'll see in ME3, i guess, but already the choice to save the VS and Wrex have major impact, i think. my hubby played a new game and thought i was crazy for saving the genophage info. i explained to him i only did it because wrex was in charge. if it had been that other guy, kyrie would have nuked it.
and speaking of monumental decisions:

Agree with Nyoka. The only 'nessecary' improvement I could think of is the ability to more freely rotate the face during creation, maybe even zoom in and out so you can look at your character from all angles.
I second (or third?) this. I can't tell you how many times I had to "wiggle" the face between center and one of the side angles so that in the split-second between when she faced forward and when she faced to the side I could figure out if the cheeks/cheekbones worked.

Then I'll third/fourth this complaint. I also have to turn the head to get that split second view of how deep the cheeks are. So annoying! As a result, 90% of my mSheps have either a really gaunt face (because I can't see how shallow their cheeks are), or an absurdly broad jaw/cheek line to be safe (which is boring).

I am seriously in love with her bone structure. So nice and strong! *__* ...Sorry, I'll stop being a creeper now.
I have the same issue when I record in-game, the video appearing darker than I remember it, though it might just be my eyes playing tricks on me. Playing on a windowed screen (or viewing the recorded footage on a player) makes everything appear darker, especially when set against a light background. If that's not it then it's probably some image-processing oddity that I know nothing about.

Fifth'd. A 360 view of the CC would make Shepping a helluva lot easier. I really hope they consider implementing something like that in ME3.100k wrote...

Sidenote, finally trying to hax a personal avatar onto the boards, man the wait is annoying heh.
It'll be high-time though, always been more of an ME-junky then a DA one.
Edit: Succes! Sort of anyways, weird that the DA2 thumbs are by standard smaller then the DA ones, but well, it updated the DA2 character-list quicker, can always see whether I can use a DA one for it once it updates.

Source for greater justice.

That would be useful. I found a few of my FemSheps have this... blurring effect on the side of their heads when viewed from a certain angle in a conversation. It doesn't show up in the character creator. Might be the cheekbones, jaw size, or similar.

[wipes drool from chin] That looks to be exactly what I've wished for (but only about 66.465 quadrillion times).
Seriously, I've banged against the walls that the ME CC erects way too many times. On the positive side, that means you've all only had to tolerate two SkaldFish FemSheps instead of the platoon of them I would create if I could better control the feature variations...
And it's worth saying here that, when I compare what the Eve CC can do with what's been available to us in ME, it's all the more amazing to see the variations and nuances you've all been able to create in your FemSheps. My Rhea and Enid look too much alike, I think. I'm constantly trying to fiddle with the CC to come up with a distinctive FemShep whose face accurately emits the character. I just realized that I already think of many of the FemSheps I see here as real women because my brain's facial recognition software doesn't say "ah, a variant of x." It says, "Ah, there's Moira or Caroline or Kyrie or Noah or [insert dozens of others here]...." That's quite a feat!
