@ shenzi - heh, yes, i wonder if and how a friend-only-kaidan will react to shep in ME3. and ash, for that matter. i still keep wondering about these rumors that s/s romances will actually happen, too. again, should be intersting. all these tweets i see from the ME writing folks make me sort of giddy.

Just a quick question, ive just made a femshep for the first time and was really pleased with her...that is until she was out of the armour and looked like a giraffe. Have I messed up with the weird neck or is this just a weird muck up in me1?

Yeah she has a long neck or some really skin tight casual suit in ME1, dont worry its fixed in ME2

The neck is little longer than the 'usual', there's nothing you can do about it tho...

The neck is little longer than the 'usual', there's nothing you can do about it tho...

It's still not nearly a Nefertiti-class neck though.  Longer than "normal", but not freakishly so.  It persists in the same length in ME2 and I expect it in ME3 as well.

Yeah, it's an armor thing. This way with the armor's neckpiece you still see a slither of the actual skin, in the casual outfit though.. well. Point being yeah, doesn't show till you're out of your armor.

It's a really difficult decision, she looks gorgeous in both. I'd say go with Red so, it compliment her skin color beautifully!

it's worst in ME1 in some scenes (most notably post eden prime). you can't do much about it. the longest hairstyles hide/balance it a little and the thicker neck sizes balance it a very little. but there's not much to be done about it. it's totally the build of the body and how it animates, which you can't do a thing about.

@ Alanosborn1991 : hmmm.... well, as much as i love to see blonde femsheps () i'd have to say the red-head looks more...complete as a total look. with her dark eyebrows, the blonde looks like she's not a natural blonde. she's very pretty, but it makes me think that the blonde shep is actually wearing blue contacts and went to the salon to have her hair done like that. the red head looks like the "real" shep there - she has a more natural-beauty look to her, imo. the darkness of the red hair also gives this weight to the hair, which balances her small, heart-shaped chin rather nicely. 

but that's totally a personal opinion, and i can't count the number of times i've gotten a second opinion only to totally go the opposite way.   either way, she's lovely

@ Tup: Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. My condolences.

@Alanosborn1991: I'd say the red hair suits her better. Either way though she looks good.

@Jadedry: Bottom one for me. I'm not a huge fan of the hair style in the top pic so that's probably pushing me more to the other.

So I've finally gone back to my newest femshep (Claire) and started her playthrough properly after creating her over a month a go. I tweaked her face a little bit and decided to try out a texture mod now that my PC's had a little upgrade. Good news is running texmod doesn't seem to impact my frame rate anymore so she's rocking shiney purple tech armour. 

I've not bothering to run her through ME1, and have added the plot flags through gibbed. And, as a side effect of modding the ini file to give her a shotgun from the off, her heavy weapon has vanished. No idea why, but as I rarely use the things and was thinking of hiding it anyway, I'll just leave it as is.
