Just to demonstrate that she's looking gorgeous in ME2 as well.
(This was just to see if ME2 would mess her up, i'll begin a new ME1-Run with her later today)

so says casey hudson. i know that's not quite femshep related, but that does make me glad. so i guess what we've seen of her so far is her cabin-wear? sort of like a classier version of kelly's stuff. maybe the VS can feed my fish. wonder if kaidan comes with the high-heeled boots, too?

That's great! My femShep and maleShep (and me!) requires squad mates to wear proper armour, that is if they want to be squad mates.

I hope they have better/less clip prone visors too. I might use a helmet with the visibility switched off over a clipping visor, even if visors are awesome.

Feel free to throw rotten tomatoes at me, but this made me shake my head. I actually really, really like Ash's new look that we've seen so far. It gave me hope that lighter armor variations for Shepard weren't so out of question. I hope they won't stick her in a powered tincan just because some expressed dislike for tigher suits.

Meh.

On a positive side, that quote sounded like henchmen helmet toggle? That's kind of cool .

With E3 fast approaching we all know that Mass Effect 3 will be there
in all its glory, and we can bet BioWare is going to have a killer
video trailer for its highly anticipated game.  We know the trailer will
be awesome, but it will undoubtedly be sans femShep.   That’s just the
way things are and there’s really not much we can do about it … or is
there? 
femshep.com is proud to present, “The Story so Far,” a femshep video trailer contest. 
The theme is simple; tell the story of YOUR female Commander Shepard
from the beginning of Mass Effect 1 up to the end of Mass Effect 2. We
know there are a lot of video masters out there who have done
exceptional work telling stories with their femsheps through the use of
video and we hope you will join us in this endeavor.  Whether it is a
simple recap of events or a stunning lead in to Mass Effect 3, we want
you to give femshep the trailer she deserves. 
As this is a contest, there will be prizes and rules, so please pay close attention.
PRIZES
First place prize is a $50.00 gift certificate to the BioWare store.
Second place prize is a $25.00 gift certificate to the BioWare store.
RULES
You MUST be a member of femshep.com to enter.
Your video MUST focus on female Commander Shepard. Sorry, no broSheps.

Ahh good to know! I didn't try it yet myself =)
You know what's always bothered me btw.. the first shot in ME1 you get of your character (the tilted shot from below as she steps to stand by Joker's chair) always looks weird due to the extreme contrast lighting and the angle.. then in ME2 you have the face they pull when they get out of the bed after being woken up by Miranda.. 
I know it's small, but seriously, not particularly smart right?

Agree with both.
I think Ash looks amazing but logic dictates her combat armor is heavy, that is, if she's still a soldier.
Having said that, there being more diversity and actual light armor, all for.

She was my first =) I tweaked her quite a bit from ME1 to 2, but oh well. Here's 2 clearer pics.


Jane's the fiesty one, Raine's more of a "care about what's close, get the job done" kinda girl.

@ Jamie - awesome! looking forward to watching all these femshep videos!

and re: ash in heavier armor - don't get me wrong, i like her look. i just also am glad she'll have a suited up look also. like jack and her tats - really works for jack. i just also felt it was a little strange taking fully armored shep and fully armored grunt and then jack in a belt-bra out to hunt a thresher maw, ya know? but that's me. i like people to wear armor for missions, then dress down a little for shipboard time.

also agreed. Especially for adepts. Not every protection needs to be clunky armor and ME2 proved it. No one that wasn't a soldier had armor andthey were elite. Thane was an elite assassin, wore a space trenchcoat and pants. Kasumi's a master theif, catsuit. Samara's a 1000 year old asari justicar, catsuits. Tali always wears an evorinmental suit that had varying protections, not armor. They put Miranda in armor, but she was by far the most powerful squadmate and she wore catsuits. Jack was a biotic tank and she wore a belt until her AAP outfit. Hell enemies wear armor and they don't last very long anyway.
