I did buy ME2 DDE but there's no way in hell I will buy it if it costs 70€. I'm going to check Amazon UK and Play.com first before making my decision, though.

It's good to see that FemShep's finally getting some attention at least, though many articles seem to have some amazing leaps as to what constitutes 'canon', or even 'proper'.

I'm with sage (and I'm sure others) with default =/= canon.

Thanks for the links Mesina, there's some interesting (and in some cases disturbing ) reading there.

P.S. To go momentarily off-topic, I did like the TR demo.  One thing we have to remember though folks; we've only seen a demo of the start of the game.  According to the interviews, etc. that've been put out there, the whole point of this game is to show how Lara went from being a 'normal' girl just out of her teens into the strong, capable woman that's been the default Lara for the previous games.  I'd be surprised if she didn't talk to herself and grunt and groan a lot to begin with.  After all, this (the whole shipwrecked/kidnapped/nearly killed) situation's not her norm.  I'm intrigued to see where Crystal Dynamics take it.
