Wow, all the FemShep publicity lately is pretty awesome.

I've been playing as a Paragon ManShep lately, and he has grown on me.  However, I may have to replay my uber-Renegade soon to wash off all the Boy Scout do-goodery.    I miss my FemSheps.

I received a text from my cousin last night telling me there would be a FemShep trailer coming out, so I know that this news is everywhere when it comes to gamers.  I so wanted to tell him I was part of this whole movement among fans but it's such a long explanation. x D

Yeah, the best part of all this is that we actually got to participate. From constantly dishing out trailers to something as simple as pitching in on what FemShep's hair/eye color should be, it's such a honor to say that we played a part in, what I believe, is one of the highlights in Mass Effect history.

Trailers show renegade scars on Sheploo, so I guess they transfer to ME3 or the same/similiar mechanics are implemented.

I still want to kick everyone in the groin that suggests femshep is a female gamers choice and not worth the effort to market because femshep players are a minority.
There's plenty males that pref playing as femshep, and secondly it shouldn't matter in the first place.
If 80% is happy and 20% isn't, why would that 20% ever be worth less then the other 80 if they could both be happy, right? And that's without taking into consideration that the new marketting might attract new gamers to the title.

It's funny, I don't really go for blondes. I made June a natural brunette with brown eyes in ME1 and "dyed" her hair blonde in other play-throughs because it seemed like that would be something she'd choose to do on her own. She'd experiment with her own aesthetics and have a strong enough personality to make it seem like each time that was the way she belonged.

So, yeah, I personally am not a fan of blondes, but I do really like it when blondes wear blue clothing. That juxtaposition of colors makes think of the sand and the ocean, or the sun in the sky, or panning for gold in a stream, or all these things.



Needless to say, I think Liara and blonde femshep look soooo good together...

I got mine pre-ordered via amazon.com. i'm in the states and i do have prime - not sure if that matters...

@ ryn: re: the femshep movement. yeah, i had a friend ping me yesterday to say "hey! i know you like femshep. did you know she's going to get a trailer?" i, too, had to chuckle.

Luckily, as you did, it's the internet so you have the choice to not watch it, just like I avoid reading & watching hostile anti-femshep rants.

I hope there will be a toggle for this (or a quick update for the gibbed editor).
I really don't like ME2 scars. First thing I do when my Shepard wakes up, before picking up the pistol from the locker, is to remove those scars with the editor.
