About the merge/seems if interested, I do it like this on average:
I desaturate the skin on source and screenshot, then make sure the greys on both match up with contrast/lightness. Then use smudge (or copy pasta etc) to get rid of seems, then I add in color with color-balance. That way it always matches. Does mean I always have to re-color the eyes and mouth too, but that's not that much work anyways.
The edges mostly with a tiny non-hard round brush, 20-60% intensity or so, depends.

 Well you did a great job. Did you use a mouse or tablet? Unless it's just cropping or adjusting colors I wouldn't bother doing much else unless I had a tablet on hand.

A5 wacom tablet yeah. And thnx  for the praise =)

I really like the color scheme on that armor.  It looks practical in certain environments.  The green of the Predator X (L,M,H) is usually what I go with my Sheps both for looks and stats given I'm limited to xbox.

Jacob is my new favorite romance option for femshep. I just discovered that he asks femshep a question similar to Liara's question at the end of LOTSB. I never knew that before today! I chose an option where Shepard was agitated that she had to save the galaxy, but there were several other options. Unfortunately I wasn't able to reload and check them all out, but its personal questions to Shepard that make for great characterization. My only gripe is that, aside from Liara, Jacob is the only character who asks Shepard about his/her personal feelings.

I also like Jacob's romance because it is far more physical than any other in the game. Shepard hugs and kisses him several times before the SM sex scene, which makes the relationship far more believeable.

This. It's from what i hear mostly the CougarShep voice that scare people away from a great romance

Where have you Been 100K?Jacob's been asking my Sheps how they feel since before LoTSB came out so it was nice that they added that feature to Liara's DLC. It should have been for all character but that's what makes Jacob special, since he's a soldier like Shepard is.

I was hoping against hope that Jacob could be a great friend, but I think I got 1-2 lines of dialogue in and never spoke to him again, save for his LM-related stuff.

I remember reading a walkthrough that talked about the different romances, and the author mentioned that nearly every squadmate was romanceable, save for one, and that that one wasn't available for 'good and noble' reasons.  Somehow I got it into my head that it was Jacob who wasn't romanceable.  I liked the idea that he simply respected Shepard too much (he was the first person to salute her), and didn't want romance to get in the way of that.

Then I talked to him and was like .  Quite the shock.

Not only that, but I really like how Jacob is able to handle his personal issues. Olivia wants him to open up about his inner conflicts and problems. Jacob tells her that he doesn't carry them around with him, and he doesn't really want her to try and "fix him". Olivia persists, and Jacob gets pissed. That is SUCH a guy/girl relationship thing! As a guy, I have had my ex's want me to expose them, and I really am not a very touchy-feely kind of person, and it has lead many of the women I've known to get the impression that I'm not very open. This is not the case. Its just that, as with many men, I process my emotions and inner conflicts differently than many women.

Many women (but certainly not all) want to talk about their internal feelings and struggles. They like having those kind of conversations with people. Men, who aren't usually quite as emotional (once again, certainly not all men) often just let things go, or prefer to let them fester inside. When femShep insists that Jacob open up to her, its almost as if she wants to find something wrong with him so she can find her place in his life by fixing it (she more or less says this). The fact that she's really working at peeling away his layers is something that maleShep is never really into, and is a very small, but very distinct (and excellent) difference between the two gender PCs.
