Coffee addiction is remarkably common in the military. It's one of those things that won't change in over 1000 years, I am quite sure.

Update:  a modern submarine has 5 built in coffee machines.  Frequently, two or three commericial machines are brought onboard by the crew.

@thompsmt:  I can attest to the military coffee addiction.  The army has these little bottles that are SUPER concentrated liquid coffee, dump it into a gallon of water and you've got a gallon of horrible coffee, but hey, it's coffee and it's got caffiene.  Some late night watches on tower guard in Iraq, I'd sneak a bottle of that concentrate and drink half of it before watch, and the other half about an hour in.  I'd be good for the night.

That, and in the MRE's the army has (Meal Ready To Eat, or more popularly Mystery Meals(MR-E...get it?), they usually have dried coffee packets.  I'd eat a coupla them on watch.  Yeah, my blood ran dark brown most of my tour.  Coffee was life lol

I think Katrina isn't quite as much of a coffee fiend as I was, but don't talk to her before her morning cuppajava.

Honestly, it's a dream, whether or not a job would roll out of it the mere fact Silverman took the initiative to suggest she should apply to Bioware is just freaking awesome.
