If you don't mind me asking, that sort of brush/splatter thing on the N7 logo that you used, is that a custom brush or did you draw that in manually? I always have trouble replicating blood splatter by hand. >__<

The brush/splatter effect is just a custom brush I downloaded from the net. Where they're from I couldn't tell you, as I downloaded them ages ago, but do a google search for 'Grunge Brushes' and you'll find loads. In fact you can find a photoshop brush for just about anything.

You're welcome, Aislinn. Fyi, the images were made at 300dpi, which every T-Shirt printing site I looked at required for a custom image.

Dear lord. I am currently suffering from severe insomnia. Went to bed around 1 am, didn't fall asleep until 4 or 5. Just laid there. My bed seemed too large, then too small. I drank some straight vodka to try and knock me out, but it didn't work (luckily I don't get very strong hang overs).

Thanks.  Considering where I started in the CC, I'm really surprised that she resembles Kyrie so much.  I found this Shep in the Share your Shepard thread, and used her as a base to start with.  Thinned the lips, altered quite a few of the settings, and came up with something radically different.  It was only after I posted the first pics of Kat that I realized how much like Kyrie she looks like.  I hope you don't think I copied Kyrie.  I wouldn't wanna make her mad.

not at all! seriously, there's only so many variations one can get in the CC anyhow.

when doing the making of femshep vid, i noticed that very much. i tried really hard to mix things up so each transition would be striking - i tried to put sheps with different haircut/color, face shape, etc. back-to-back, and even with all this careful mixing, i'd notice similarities all over the place. i found it was most apparent in the 'credits' where i went alphabetically. kyrie's in there between kathryn and lili, and i realized all sorts of similarities between kathryn's look and kyrie's and lili's look and kyrie's that i never really thought about.

so yeah, i think it's impossible to make a completely 'new' shep. if they look remotely realistic, you're gonna find someone whose shep looks similar. 

@ red: she looks great! ah, subtle fishnet stockings: if done wrong, it's skank city. if done right (like right there) it's hella hot.

 I really think Bioware marketing people have really undersold their own product by not emphasizing the character creation aspect of Mass Effect.
