Raine was adrift, growing slightly more bitter by the day. Appalled by the direction some of the reds took off in, she started to develop what has now become her extreme and slightly unhinged sense of wrong and right.

Renée was at an Elaborate University High at that time. She was one of the more interesting students, already noticeable for her leadership abilities, and pranks. She once managed to get the entire student body to boo a visiting digniatary.

And she got off scot-free for the whole thing.

Sarah was what she could be after seen her whole childhood die together with her family and friends.. Depression wasn't uncommon nor was her being very easily annoyed. She had only one goal in life and that was to make sure that no one else should go through what she did. She lived most of the time from Mindoir to joining the Alliance on Arcturus Station. Spent most of the time learning how to defend herself and made herself ready for the Alliance, she had very few friends.

Drea (spacer) - well adjusted.  friendly, outgoing, with a playful mischievous streak.  independent, because I don't imagine her dad was around, and her mom Hannah was away often.  she was always middling at academics, but really shined in an Alliance funded training program for biotics which she was lucky enough to get enrolled in.  being a spacer kid had it's advantages for her, due to her high biotic aptitude--she didn't have to deal with it alone or really experience any of the stigmas attached to it.  I imagine her to be a much happier and luckier kid than most other Shepards.  a little too perfect really, which is how I RP her.

Well, Jane left her home planet Earth when she was 14.  All this time she travelled from one planet to another with her 'friends' from the gang. She always did what they ordered her to do. Jane didn't like the gang and their affairs but she had nowhere to go. But it was not the future she dreamed about , so in the end she realised she needs to leave. However, Jane didn't want to go back to the streets again. She wanted to do something important in her life. To become someone, to make her dream come true. That's why she entered the military academy. She thought about it for about six months. She shared her thoughts with her ​​friend Finch, suggested him to go with her. But he liked the band, so he decided to stay. And Jane realized that it was her own way. In her 18th birthday she ran away and went back to Earth to join the cosmic forces of the Alliance.

 I myself am a big supporter of Femshep. For  this reason I've always had trouble playing as Male Shep and practically never finish playthroughs with him unlike femshep, of which I have done 12. I just have more attachment to her.

Kallen(spacer)- Kallen was an alliance brat to the core. she was raised to call everyone "Sir" or "Ma'am" and had friends all overthe galaxy. She was vid chatting with one of her freindson mindoir when it was raided, so she had an intese hatred for Batarians, which led her to volunterring for the Torfan mission. and how she brutally exterminated them and their leader. as a teen she was very charming, but was brutally effective in sports, even injuring fellow competitors and working her way onto the football team at her high school. She even went to college and was the third female nominated for the heisman trophy. and of course she was excited when she enlisted with the allaince at serviceman third class and the rest is history.

Jakarta? Optimistic but unsettled. That was about when she'd have been in for biotic training, which would probably have put her planetside, or at least on a large, immobile space station (if it doesn't move, it isn't home), and she still hadn't found the right combination of meds either. So that was probably when her natural Shepard adaptability and charisma had their greatest test. That said, she was finally out having her own adventures like her mom instead of trailing along in the wake of her father's boring tramp-freighter-guarding "safe" (read: suited to child-raising) Navy career. So she'd have been pretty happy, all the same, excited about the chance to prove herself and looking forward to a bright future as an Alliance biotic.

Varick? Still in frequent treatement for PTSD over Mindoir, and also probably beginning her biotic training. She doesn't let herself think about much from before when she got her commission, though, so the precise details are a bit academic. She'd tell you she survived long enough to turn twenty, and that's the only thing about her adolescence that anybody needs to care about.

UJ was a brat (as in Punk), but in a carefree way.   She was a mischievous troublemaker who enjoyed placing the other colonists’ lawn furniture on top of their cabin rooftops w/ her biotics.  Though she never had any malevolent intent, she was still quite the hellraiser, especially when it came to authority figures. (At the same time she regularly came to the defense of anyone preyed upon by bullies).  The teasing she took from her crossed eye and first name (Urania) toughed her up. She drank and smoked a variety of substances, but knew when to say when, (most of the time).  Though she loved both her parents deeply, she had her father wrapped around her little finger.  Her mother was a different story and could usually rein UJ in with a firm talking to and a sprinkling of guilt. UJ came out at the age of 15 and the few who hassled her got a prompt ass kicking and so not much was made of it. She had a girlfriend named Delilah, a brainy blonde who loved to paint.  She got her love of music from listening to the old albums from the colony general story.  The owner there had been a trader and had a collection of “LPs” from a variety of musical genres.  UJ liked the “rock/punk” music the most.   She also liked to steal bottles of bourbon from the same general store.   She knows one song on the guitar, Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”. 

Then one day that was all shattered as Batarian slavers raided the colony of Mindoir.  UJ and her girlfriend were away at a lake when it happened.  Her parents were killed and she never got to say goodbye.  She and her girlfriend were found by the Batarians and UJ was forced to watch as they raped and murdered her friend.  Then by a stroke of luck, an Alliance patrol ambushed the Batarians and rescued her.  Originally, she had planned to join up w/ a merc band to get some revenge, but was swayed to join the Alliance by one of the female marines who rescued her.

When Katrina was 16, Mindoir was attacked.  She saw her parents die in front of her, and never found out for sure what happened to her baby brother.  She tries hard not to think about that now, 'cause she tormented the kid as older sisters are wont to do.  She's fairly well adjusted now, but it took  years of effort and therapy to reach a new "normal."

Before the raid, though, she was something of a wild child.  Part daredevil, all tomboy, she got the scar in her left eyebrow from an old pedal bike accident about 6 months before the raid.  She was trying to jump an irrigation ditch using a home-made bike ramp, and she didn't quite make it.  Face planted in the opposite embankment, and hit her forehead on an exposed rock.  The scar on her lip she got in a fight at age 14.  Some bullies were pushing her little brother around, and as much as she herself picked on him, no one else was allowed to touch him.  She jumped in, and got a thorough beating for her trouble, but the older kids left her and her brother alone after that.  That situation inspired her to take formal hand-to-hand training, starting with generic karate in the year prior to the Raid, but following it with a style very much akin to modern day Krav Maga.

The farming lifestyle was just a bit too boring for her, so she tended to do crazy things to break up the monotony of colony life.

Jennifer (spacer) was as well adjusted as one could hope for in her circumstances. By her late teens, she was used to moving around  a lot to wherever her parents wanted her to go during their time away in assignments. She was independent and knew how to mostly take care of herself. The best time of her life, despite it being difficult, was during her biotic training, because during this time she was able to make lasting friendships with people who even enlisted and went to the Alliance academy with her.

Ok I'll give my bios.....except I feel mine sucks compared to everyone else's Shep's

Charlie was born to unknown parents on Earth. Her mother simply dropped her off at a local shelter and left without a word. One of the nurses there simply scribbled down Charlie Shepard, a simple enough common name. Flashforward and she's now 11 years old at a orphanage and hates it there. Runs away a few months later with a few other kids and joins the Reds....albeit unwillingly but she was a stupid naive kid.

Come around 17 and after multiple robberies, near arrests and experimenting with red sand she realized one thing: life as a petty criminal sucked. Had her first run in with Anderson a few months later, and returned his personal datapad after another gang member stole it for some fast credits. Anderson admired Charlie for her honesty, saying 'look me up if you ever want to join the Alliance.'

A year later she went to the nearest recruiting station at 18, got the surgery for her biotic implant and worked her way up until Elysium. Enrolled in the N7 Academy under Anderson's careful tutoring and graduated. The rest is history

Charlie holds a special place in my heart since she's my original Shep and the highest at Lv. 58

Lili was...violent, rebelous, but she was very sweet, joking and kind around friends. There was a girl flirting with Devu, Jasmine her name was, and Lili went off, so she would be considered a jelous girl. She was also quite protective and argumentive, and she had a temper that would flare when people really pissed her off. She was just a damn troublemaker, but had her good side. She also liked to prank people using her  biotics, freaked people when she first did it, got in trouble for doing it in school to teachers too. She also drank. At parties and things, her parents never really knew, and she had smoked a few times as well. Lili was one to do what she wished. Her mother would end up yelling at her at times, but her father bailed her out of most trouble. She was very talented at sports, shooting weapons, doing stunts on a motocycle, could use any type of sword she could hold (be it rapier, katana, broadsword, epee, scimiter, anything she could use and was good with, but she prefered the katana and rapier)

When Mindoir was raided and she watched her friends and family die around her, she went into a blaze of anger, killing any slaver she found. Finally she buried her two best friends and colapsed on their graves, sobbing. One last slaver attacked her, she killed him and passed out, so sad, angry and heartbroken that everything she had known was gone, and everybody as well (hell, the girl still has nightmares from that day) she felt utterly alone and broken and was covered in blood, dirt and tears. Her heart had been ripped from her chest and crushed basically, and she blamed herself. From that day on, she was different, never really whole until she got to the Normandy. She never really felt...alive, after the raid, just a walking corpse who wanted nothing but to avenge her loved ones.

Tiia moved to Earth after the incident (colonist). Finished the upper secondary school there and joined the military after that. She was the quiet kind of kid.
