I'd like to write up a small background for Talia, but first I have to talk with Ottemis how I can fit Raine in there... you know, being sisters and all ;)

That's cool, though i reckon for the age the question it was about it matters little in therms of cross-bg-ness.
Anyways yeh, we can has discuss ghehe.

And @Ais: looks good hun, if you do another try messing around more with brush-sizes (go extremer for bigger shading/coloring bits maybe) and switching between soft round and hard round brush.

Like all the drawing of late :)   Its great to see some hands on interpretations of our femshep rather then playing around with screenshots or manips.

Really nicely drawn Aislinn too!

You did. :)

Tablets aren't the easiest things to get to grips with, but you've done a really good job with that pic of Holly.

I picked up a tablet the other week, and I find it a llittle strange to use, as I'm so used to a mouse.

Be it earthborn/colonist/spacer what was your Femshep like as a teenage? Talking late teens...16-17 before becoming Alliance.

At sixteen Hrist was heavily entrenched in the Reds. Not because she enjoyed it, but because she was seeking revenge and the Reds gave her the best opportunity to achieve her goal. When she was fifteen, her best friend and the person she considered her big brother, James, was murdered. She was devastated by his death and all she cared about for a number of years was finding the people responsible for taking the most important person in her life away from her, and avenging him. James had protected her from the worst parts of gang life as best he could when he was alive, but now that he was gone, she became more involved in their activities. She learned to fight, and to use a gun. It was something she had a natural talent for and she soon gained a reputation within the Reds for her abilities and cold, clinical efficiency.

When she was seventeen though an overheard conversation between two other members of the Reds made her realise she had become something she despised. She had turned in to the same type of street punk who had been responsible for the death of her parents, when she was still a baby. Someone who didn't care about the lives of other people, or the consequences of her actions.

From that point on she changed her ways. She gave up on trying to avenge James, and decided to help people instead. The night before her 18th birthday, she slept outside an Alliance recruitment office and signed up as soon as the doors opened the next morning, determined to make amends for everything she had done during her time in the Reds.

After being rescued Naomi spent weeks in an Alliance hospital recovering until she was sent to another colony to stay with her mother's sister and her family. As much as she loved them, being with them, living on another farmstead was too much. She spent most of her time in town where she met, recent college graduate, Simon. Simon was sweet, just as geeky as she was, and only home until he started his new job. They fell in love fast and within six months were married and living on Earth. Her aunt agreed to the marriage in hopes it would settle her down. Or she thinks that's why, Naomi talked a lot and Aunt Setsuma found herself agreeing to it, somehow.

Living in a major city was a revaluation, no one knew who she was here Naomi now Naomi Shepard could be or do anything. She flourished in her computer programmer course and began to make friends who knew nothing about her past. Slowly the worst of her grief passed. Which was bad for her marriage. Simon had fallen for the broken girl who feared to be alone. Someone free with her emotions. The more confident Naomi became the less she relied on and confided in him.

Things came to a head during an argument over something stupid and Naomi called Simon 'Ren'. She realised sex and boy parts aside Simon was a replacement for her twin sister. She moved out soon after.

Initially joining the Alliance was for education but it turns out she really likes to make things go boom.

The marriage was short, divorce took longer than the marriage itself, and he jokes she only married him for the surname.

Link was born on an Alliance ship, but when she eventually came to Earth with her parents at age 16, she came across some gangs: she did not participate in their illicit activities, since she was taught "what was right and wrong" , and decided she would hang out with them and try to make them change their behaviour. However, Link discovered that it was not all was black and white when she almost got killed while trying to persuade a gang member to change his ways, and she witnessed that some of them needed to be got rid of.  When, she eventually joined the Alliance to follow in her parent's footsteps, she made a vow to herself that she would try and make the world a brighter place and use persuasion wherever she could, but also know when there was no other way than to kill them once and for all.

I may change her history sometime, I have not got it exactly figured out.

Also, do you guys mind telling me what you think of this?

Hey gang.
Was wondering if someone could offer some advice on how recreate the armor colors seen in this glorious artwork here?

What RGB values, etc should I use? Any clues?

Drea (spacer) - well adjusted.  friendly, outgoing, with a playful mischievous streak.  independent, because I don't imagine her dad was around, and her mom Hannah was away often.  she was always middling at academics, but really shined in an Alliance funded training program for biotics which she was lucky enough to get enrolled in.  being a spacer kid had it's advantages for her, due to her high biotic aptitude--she didn't have to deal with it alone or really experience any of the stigmas attached to it.  I imagine her to be a much happier and luckier kid than most other Shepards.  a little too perfect really, which is how I RP her.

A little more freaky is more like it.

she's a wonderful lady.
