Hello Female Shepard fans. I always play Sheploo but I think my next Shepard will be a Female (and my first Renegade too). Thing is, I'm not fond of the default face and in every game where there is a Character Creator, I always make crap faces so I turn to defaults (in ME = Sheploo).
Anyone have a good looking face recipe for a Renegade (going for Infiltrator if that helps).

RE: Hair colour.

I personally always pick brown or almost brown hair. I don't really know why, I almost have brown hair (kinda between blonde and brown, a bit closer to brown). When I was a small boy I had blond hair.

One action gif for teh change.

For some reason gif animations above 15 fps run in slow mo in IE9. I do hope that they fix that in the future. I use Firefox, though.

How do the recipes there work? Looks like numbers and letters...

When you start a new custom shep in ME2, in the bottom of the Character Creator you can input that 'code' and it'll give you the face specified =)

If you want to use a custom shep for ME1, you can use a conversion tool Tup3xi­ created. You input the facecode from the masseffect2faces website into the tool and it will generate a textfile that shows you the sliderpositions for the ME1 Character Creator. You can find that tool here.

Ah, I never touched it in Mass Effect 2 as past experiences in Other CC has been unpleasant.
Will take a closer look later at the site.

You can just copy the code directly from the site into the CC input box, so it's pretty foolproof =)

Same goes for Xbox360. You can just scroll to bottom bar with all the numbers and letters and input the code there using the xbox interface and get the same results. More tedious, but do-able.

I did my first attempt at face replacement earlier today to see what Kate would look like in ME3 with the hair for #1.  I really hope it's an option in the ME3 CC.

The hairstyles will with 99,99% be in the CC as they show the improvements they've made so far and they want to show some of the longer/better hairstyles and they used our FemSheps to do that

Indeed,  not having those styles, or something similar would be very disappointing.  Also very strange after showing us styles that we want for femshep.

So yes I sure all those will make an appearance and hopefully a couple more!

probably not.

first of all, i'm not sure if i could remake her properly, second, even if i could, i'd weirdly feel like it wasn't 'her' - i prefer the straight-up import because i'm neurotic like that. and third, i see kyrie as being a woman who is so completely oblivious to trends that she'd merely continue with what worked for her forever.

Probably but it still depends on what's available.
Sarah can change hairstyle without a problem but no major overhaul

Kate definitely will be switching to the new pixie cut as shown above unless there's another new short style I like better in the ME3 CC.  I prefer the new pixie cut as it's closer to what I pictured her hair to look like in ME2 than her current hair. 

Kate went from long hair in ME1 to short hair in ME2 so changing it a different short style isn't what I'd call a major overall for her.

Depends on whether or not I can put a mohawk on her again. Also depends on whether or not the short haircut is available and what it looks like on her. Otherwise it will be shaved head.

Depends. If we have something like DA2's Black Emporium, I may change her haircut at some point of her playthrough.

Better answer this myself too.  


Depends.  Im hoping the existing hairstyles have been overhauled and look as good as the ones we are seeing in the promotional images.  In that case probably no, as the new textures will look impressive and different enough as it is.

Additionally it depends if it suits her.    Amelia's hairstyle is quite prim and proper.  The new ones are all trendy and messy looking.  But thats style for you!

*My* Amelia (blonde!) is very attached to her high bun. It's professional and lets her draw a clear line between her marine self and her self self. Hopefully all the hair textures will be overhauled. Hair and eyelashes have been a disappointment so far in ME.

Naomi is currently sporting Kelly's hair but I'd ditch it in a second for femshep 1's short crop. Is it termed a pixie cut?
