Question:  Will your cannon femshep change styles and get a haircut in ME3?

Likely, but still depends on how good and detailed does the new hair styles is, please at least give us 20 of them to pick BW! :D

Space Barbie, eh?

As for the hairstyle change topic: don't have a canon ladyshep, only a favourite, up there. She's the practical sort so will stick with the ponytail, or try that new short cut Shepard no1 is wearing. Personally would like to see some decent hair textures, please and thank you.

Most likely not. Maybe if there's something that looks better on her or if the old one looks completely different. I think that the current one suits her (?).

sagequeen wrote...
probably not.

first of all, i'm not sure if i could remake her properly, second, even if i could, i'd weirdly feel like it wasn't 'her' - i prefer the straight-up import because i'm neurotic like that. and third, i see kyrie as being a woman who is so completely oblivious to trends that she'd merely continue with what worked for her forever.

What a relief! I'm not alone with that problem. ^_^

And when it comes to converting ME2 face code to ME1 I can assure you that it does take time to be sure that sliders are in right places. -_-

Most likely. I doubt Ash's bun will be available in ME3.

Having said that, I quite like Shepard #3's hairstyle.

Hrist may well get a new hair style, but it depends on what the old styles look like with whatever graphical upgrades Bioware have given them and what the new ones look like. Whatever style she ends up with it will be short, but I'll wait and see how things look once she's imported in to ME3 before making a decision.

Maybe a haircut, but why should I change the look of my femsheps? The campaign was to get femshep recognised and have an equal marketing outlook, not to force us to change how our own individual femsheps look. It is good that we now have a proper femshep for marketing, but to change our own femsheps to look like her is a disservice to all the hours we have played and to the campaign that was mounted. It is because of our many many many different femsheps that the campaign succeeded, to suddenly forget that and change our femsheps to a newly made "canon" face is a cop out of the biggest order.

The uniqueness is what made femshep so great, lets not forget that now.

No one here just want to change their Sheps hair just to look more as the Sheps we were shown. There will be new and improved hairstyles in ME3 and it's only natural that people want to change or try out new and see if that fits their Shepard better. I sure won't change the hairstyle to fit someone else Shepard but to make my Shep look as good as she can

As far as I can see, noone here talked about changing their FemShep to make them look like the new default one.

I have to see what the hair actually looks like in ME3 before I'll decide whether or not to make any changes. That said, I dig the hairstyle of number 6 or maybe even number 3 for Moira... since I'll have to give her a new hairdo regardless. Mestesso thinks she'd look good with number 4.  My new asian Shepard also has modded hair, so she'll be getting a new style as well.

Anyway, when I look at the blonde Shepard up close it makes me think her hair might be an upgrade of the 'classy' style, which my canon has. If that's the case I'm not changing a thing.

yeah, i think the hair was the only thing up for debate on changing. since, ya know, it comes up every few pages that some of us (me, mostly) lament the lack of hairstyle options in ME1 and 2.

and then, for all that, i think i'm not going to change a thing, since i've gotten so attached to every little thing about kyrie, including the messy bob that really needs a comb.

If Blondie's hairstyle is available (I think it's "classy" style just exagerated) then, yes I will change UJ's hair to that. I suppose there is the chance she will get that hairstyle automatically.  Don't know.  If not I'll stick w/ the her current look.  I can't see her any other way.  That said, I do have one femShep who will sport a different hairstyle for each game.

I have to say I got lucky w/ UJ as I did manage to remake her in ME2 and was able to get a code.  I then converted that into ME1 sliders and it's almost an exact match.  I have the code on another heard drive safely tucked away.  :)

If Shepard #1's hairstyle is available... Bailie might just let the razor sit for a few months.

Pretty much the same thing here. I have 'em (cofigs, coalesced.ini, face code, everything) in three different physical locations and copies scattered around my RAID0 array(s) (so two real back ups). Same goes to my Windows users folder.

Almost ready with this ME1 playthrough.

As for her makeup, I see it as part of the myth that no matter how busy a woman is, she has time to put on eyeliner in the morning. Aaannnddd since I usually do put on eyeliner even though I *don't* really have time for it, I personally can't naysay that one. Depends on the woman's priorities, I guess. ^_^

Making a Fem Shep Tribute video using some of my favorite Sheps from this thread! Still uploading to youtube took me a few hours of searching through all the great Fem Sheps.

Make-up can be armour of a different sort. I *make* time to put on foundation and lipstick if nothing else.

IMO FemShep needs eyeliner/eye make-up otherwise the eyelashes look really weird but that's a texture rendering problem.

I know nothing about make up and how long it takes. But anyway, one time there was not enough time to pee at the army in the the morning before the usual crap. Just saying... (And thank God that I did not have to do full time there :D).

But then again after basic training things slow down a bit.

Non eyeliner version looks a bit weird in Mass Effect so I have it on.

Probably, if only to keep up the tradition.  I like the idea of changing hairstyles to delineate passage of time.  My more practical reason though is hairstyles seem to get better each game.

Ugh. The more I think about the results for the Facebook poll, the more irritated I get. It's not like I intend to use a default face since I do have my own characters to choose from, but Bioware is missing a great opportunity to feature cover art that is so different from the norm. It's bad enough that we have few main female characters to cheer on, but now we have a design that's safe, typical, and disappointing....like a loaf of Wonderbread. She doesn't even look like a woman in her late twenties!

...So I think it's about time I posted in here....I've been lurking this thread since the announcement of LOTSB. Yes, that's almost a year. I never posted because, well, I'm a 360 gamer and had exactly 0 screenshots of any of my 8 sheps (5 FemSheps). Well...I finally got ME2 PC. It's about time.

Meet my latest FemShep, Tess:

Don't worry, you'll meet all my sheps eventually :P

You DO know that the fans choose who the default is, right? The fans chose to vote for the safe option. Deal with it. Besides, it's just concept art right now, not the final product.

Not everyone makes/loves the unconventional choice, sadly. I hear you, Flies. Your sheps are rare women and I love 'em for it.

Still, I'll say it again, I'm just thrilled new default shep looks like a badass and has the same pose as Sheploo and wasn't oversexualized. That has been my #1 worry as femshep gets more attention, and so far, it seems like we're going to avoid that pothole (even if she does look pretty, young, white, etc.)
