Just a quick info for Xbox 360 players.

If anyone hasn't bought Lair of the Shadow Broker, Kasumi or Arrival, they're 50% off until next Monday.

Well I posted this in the ongoing thread but thought I would post it here because its quite interesting.  All those numbers dont mean alot somethimes so thought I would put it into percentages.  Especailly after reading Ottemis's very good post on the last page :)

#1:  6,963         11%
#2:  4,391         7%
#3: 10,066       16%
#4: 10,982       18%
#5:  27,109      43%
#6:  3,067         5%

So 43% on a poll like this is none debatable really.  If the lead between all of them was only 1% or 2% then I would think Bioware would have to rethink.  As it stands they don't.   But the figure I was most impressed about though is the 62,578 Votes cast so far!!   Nice to see so many people caring about how femshep looks like!!

Also it seems the femshep on the other page is catching on a bit outside BSN  :P

Sorry meant to edit my above post but accidentally quoted.  Anyway that concept art above is just that.  He now works for Bioware as his blog indicates:  http://grassettiart.com/blog.html

Im sure the Bioware designers will kick him into touch with the sexualisation element. Other then that I think this guys stuff is really good!

Same. :(

It's curious how redheads seemed to dominate on Twitter but apparently not on Facebook. Makes me think if it's because redhead love really is scarce, or if different social environments just have different trends. Then again there are a lot of other factors to take account into voting now like hairstyle and such...

I wonder how things would have turned out if BioWare divided the voting into different parts; voting on the hairstyle first, then skin, eye color, and so on. Customizing her, except it's done collectively.

Then it would have been "work", not a big event. They had to present potential icons. Body parts don't have nearly as much impact as a huge poster of a new femshep.

They could have done something different on facebook, once the big event was over, maybe something similar to what online sports magazines do. When there is an important match, they make a little flash app where you can compose your favorite line-up. Once you submit yours, you're shown the most popular player for each position which makes the overall fan-favourite line-up. It's basically the same as a character creator.

That would've been great. It would have shown exactly what the fans want. Right now people vote for a Shep for several reasons and i often read ''I like her hair style but i prefer her as a red head''

True. It's far easier to vote on a whole "set" instead of voting for each part and it's less squee-inducing. Still, it would be very interesting to see which features the majority like.

Hello fellow Femshep fans! Credit goes to Golden Owl for taking the time to take some shots of my gal and I'm grateful for that :)

So here's Teddy in all of her N7/Adept glory!

What do you guys think? :)

What you mean she isnt?   But she's on all the press and media sites outside Bioware!!  How confusing! [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

I can't blame them for thinking that way. I don't think I've had a chance to say this before, but Marge looks very iconic to me. :D

Thanks 100k! Teddy is my Shep that turned out to be my cannon and I hoped I put enough time and energy into her to carry her into ME3

I know I'm dragging up an old topic from a few pages back, but I wanted to have a say on the whole 'choose which FemShep you like', thing.

While I may not think having a popularity contest on facebook is the best way to go about deciding on who will be Bioware's Jane Shepard, the important thing to me is that FemShep is getting exactly what every one of her fans has asked for: Some recognition for a character that we all love, from the people who created her.

It doesn't matter to me which of those six Shepards win, as I think they all look great and any of them will be a worthy face for FemShep. What she looks like isn't important, it's what she represents. She doesn't replace mine or anyone elses Shepard, but she will the public face of something that's sorely lacking in most video games these days. That being a strong female lead who breaks the norm of being either a sex object, or a damsel in distress.

I can't wait to see the trailer and marketing material featuring which ever one wins. As it stands the blonde FemShep is winning by quite a distance (she wasn't my choice, but as I've stated I don't mind which one wins), but regardless of what colour her hair, or skin is, we're the ones who win. We get some public recognition for a character we're all attached to. A character that has been hidden in the background for two games when she deserved a share of the spotlight. Yes you can say Bioware should have pushed the female protagonist of the the ME games on to the public stage years ago, but to do so is to miss the point. Bioware have acknowledge that they got it wrong and are doing something about it. I personally see nothing to complain about. FemShep gets some much deserved and overdue public attention and we get to see our favourite lady finally presented to the world.

To add this isn't directed at anyone in this thread, nor am I bashing anyone, it's just how I see things.

And since Aislinn hasn't posted it yet, I'm going to steal her thunder and post the T-Shirt design I made for her:

This is EXACTLY how I feel.  You put all my thoughts into words, so now I don't have to.  And I'm still squeeing over the t-shirt design.  It rocks HARD.

awesome! Nothing says scary like Femsheps weidling smg's or AR's

To that end... I have no idea what to give Teddy as a bonus weapon.....debating the sniper or assault....but I do love to snipe things

Maybe it's because the brunette and redhead spots are already "taken" by Miranda and Kelly. A blond femshep may be a fresh look for the voters. At least that's why June Shepard dyed her hair for a while.

She'll probably go back to her natural color for the "f--- it, I don't care, I'm doing whatever" play through. :) Fits that messy shoulder length style.
