If you follow the link to the wiki that sagequeen provided, you'll see that the Shifty Looking Cow is one specific individual on one planet.  The other creatures that look like the SLC don't steal your credits, but the SLC itself will.  If you turn your back on it, you can see it walk up to you and you'll start losing credits.  Pretty funny, in my opinion.  A little far out of the way for me to go see it that often, but I've made it a point to specifically go find the thing.  It's one of my favorite Easter Eggs in all of gaming, period.

Ahh, that explains it. The cows I've seen were not shifty enough apparently. xD Does it specifically say "Shifty Looking Cow" in the toggle? I'm all over that thing lol.

This will make the second new thing I've discovered on my re-runs. It's like looking at the game with fresh eyes again.

It's pretty impossible to truly capture with screencaps, you kind of need the whole animation to get the effect, but the "... seriously?" look that Shep gives this guy - I have played that DLC probably a dozen times and I still about fall over laughing every time I see it. She's just so gloriously unimpressed by the very idea of him trying to fight her.

What's funny, though, is that that space station in the background for paragons appears to be the same one Miranda and Jacob take you to in the beginning of ME2. So... not so paragon after all

The short scene in ME you're talking about has a few lines of dialogue from Ash and Kaidan, and nothing from Shepard.  It's them reacting to the destruction of a large area.  Still, it adds to the verisimilitude of the game.

I also never noticed that EP cutscene until my 'canon' playthrough with Kyrie (which, was like my....12th playthrough of ME1?). And I agree, although it's not a very long, it added a HUGE amount to my vision of Shepard's story. 'Cause 1) Kyrie's a colonist - it really made her determination to take Saren down make so much more sense and 2) It was this small moment of understanding between her and Kaidan before the whole beacon thing, and (I think) completely adds to the VS having this connection with Shepard. 

Yeah, I love that moment. Will never fail to seek it out now.



Kaidan: Where are you going, commander? You walk over to the beacon and hit the "E" key.
Shepard: No, I'm looking for that one cut-scene trigger spot. I know it's around here somewhere. Darn hidden easter eggs....

The amusing part is that i do much to avoid the derp faces but an average playthrough gives me atleast 100 of them and i can save some and post here ^^
