Hey guys, so I was hoping some people wouldn't mind helping me out by suggesting some ideas for roleplaying my newest Shepard.  My last Shepard had three main tenets that I started with that I used as a guideline for the playthrough, but would still let her character evolve. They were: loyal to the Alliance (extremely), hated batarians (because of Mindoir past), and super professional.  And it worked out beautifully.  I had a blast with that shep and she was able to grow in unexpected ways.

I want to do the same thing for my next shep, but I want three new tenets.  Does anyone have ideas that they would recommend?  Some character trait you've used to define your character that you found worked really well in the game and was a lot of fun?  Oh, and I already have a pure renegade and a pure paragon so I would like to avoid going pure in either direction.  Anything in the middle would be great   Any recommendations would be appreciated.

What would proving to be the best entail? Could you give an example of what kind of decision that would force shepard to make?  I'm torn on the background as well. I was thinking with going with Mindoir just because the sidequest you get is so awesome.  Also, what would taking it easy entail?

...and while starting my last planned MaleShep game, I ended up with this wild idea to rework my first FemShep, Kyrie and start another Vanguard as ME1, and this time actually play her as a Vanguard when I start the ME2 run instead of going to the Infiltrator.


Spent a bit of time on ME2 tweaking in the CC until I found something I liked. Mainly altered the eyes and some of the facial structure. Anyway, meet Kelly Shepard.





Colonist, Sole Survivor. Might use "Kyrie" as a nickname, since people keep dying around her.

Not yet. Seeing how she looks in ME1. (Vanguard Sole Survivor. Assault Rifle as bonus talent.)

...and trying not to get distracted by Schlock Mercenary since one of the female characters just did something awesome which is leaving me sorely tempted to try to create a FemShep based on her as well. Hence my wailing on the FemShep site's chat.



Edit: Started the game. Looks pretty good, actually.

@NanQuan burnt out hero perhaps? Spacer/Elysium background would work best with this one imo. People's, especially family, expectations can be a heavy burden. A strong sense of duty to balance that out and ?

Haha, thank you. Her name is Serenity. She chose it herself, on account of not knowing her actual birth name. It's mostly evidence of a finely honed sense of irony.

Every post you read screams petty doesnt it.  Femshep posted, instantly a maleshep is posted after.  Two different discussions are going on a once and it feels so awkward because it just so fake and forced.   Nothing constructive is at all happening. Its just one group trying to pip the other.
