@Akari
Look on the bright side!

We've gone from wondering whether we'd see a few screenshots of femshep to anticipating a trailer and bukus of femshep propaganda. That's a huge "win" in my book. Recent events may have left us with scorch marks and stunned looks on our faces (hehehe), but at least we're not being shrugged off like second rate citizens by BioWare.
@JaywalkerWhat you
said wrote! If anything of significance has been overlooked during this whole discussion, it's the fact that femshep will never equal or surpass her real-life counterparts. The character is fortunate to have captured the adoration and imagination of so many smart, passionate fans IMHO.
Kathryn, Kyrie, Drea, Teagan, Holly, Noah, Jane and the crazy-long list of other, no less significant femsheps "out there" owe their collective awesomeness to the peeps who moulded and internalized them to begin with. It's impossible to conjure a singular, homogenized vision of Commander Shepard that sufficiently represents this. The fact that there will be any such representation, at all, is more than good enough for me.
Regardless, I view the new face of Commander Shepard as the face of BioWare's participation in these ongoing femshep festivities. Their participation is most welcome!
