Tanj likes her guns.

And when guns aren't doing it, how about a little space fireball?

There's been some awesome screenshots posted over the past couple of pages, but I really like this one.

@Mestesso -- re: the fireballs, is that an engineer ability? I don't recall seeing that effect in the game and I've mainly played a soldier and an adept.

That would be "Incinerate". I only know because, for the first time, I used it in my current play through -- and loved it. Cuts through shields like butter.

One of my last Olivias before school starts. Don't have time to do another play through. Still, can't wait to try out some of the new stuff in the CC for ME3. I'm guessing that I won't actually play the game for several hours after I buy it, because I'll be so mesmerized by the new stuff.

Yup, Gilsa, that's incinerate.  Engineers and infiltrators have it.  You get to feel like a mighty wizard slinging fireballs at your foes.

^ i know what you mean. i'm sure i'll be torn between importing kyrie as is (which is probably how i'll play her) or trying out new hairstyles and such.

i really like olivia, too. she's got a tough look going on under a lot of very pretty.

to answer your question, what Jamie said. no time for throw-aways. right now i'm hooked on RPing my way through 4 DA2 characters i've come up with, but i just got too attached to kyrie to ever do a throw away playthrough or come up with a character that isn't her. i just try to refine her.

i did realize, however, that kyrie always does what *i* think is morally right in a situation. she does it for her own reasons, but i pretty much always agree with her.

Pretty much this for me.  Alice is sorta-kinda an extension of myself, morally speaking.  I've got her 'story' down pretty well, but even on my 4th playthrough of the game I'm still finding subtle ways to make the game 'hers'.

I think the first time I ever really made a decision that I didn't necessarily agree with was in DA2, and it was because I RP'd my FemHawke as listening to Merrill even when it went counter to her gut instinct.

oh, another quick post ^ totally agree with you on the RP thing re: DA2 also. i have a really hard time playing moral decisions i highly disagree with. this is part of why i LOVE mass effect, because i can usually at least understand the opposite POV, even if I don't think it's best or i don't take it. i could see exterminating the rachni as wise, for example, even if i think it's kind of morally dubious.

but yeah, like you, DA2 was the one where i've truly RPed away from what i thought was best a LOT of the time. my characters for that game are VERY flawed. i think i'll have to write them up some time. but kyrie gets my writing time first - when i have it - if ever...

Awesome. I don't really get a lot of "omg, neat" screenshots with the soldier unless one wants the hazy filters of adrenaline rush. I can put up with a lot of abuse though! (Got bumrushed when I was switching weapons.) =p

Hey, can't hurt to check out the new styles, right? Sounds like the hair is now getting new textures and lighting effects and maybe a little bit of dynamic-ness. I might stick with my hairstyle too just because I'm used to it, but we'll just have to wait to see what they offer :-D

i really like olivia, too. she's got a tough look going on under a lot of very pretty.

Thanks a bunch :-)

Is it... any... good?

Babylon 5 is the best series to ever grace television.  It is deep, funny, philosophical, surprising, and profoundly moving.  It has its cheesy moments, sure, just like anything else, but it is graced by incredible writing and some of the best characters that have ever existed in any genre.

I feel you pain. I haven't touched my saves in months because of school. :crying: I still have about a week to go before break starts and I can play again - which only lasts a couple of weeks.

Same here. xD I'd be too busy fiddling with shiny new CC to start an ME3 run right away. Can't wait to see what they do with the hair!

No. There are five seasons, but the previous Babylon stations are mostly historical by the time the first season starts on Babylon-5.

Mostly.

(Why yes, I watched the whole series, why do you ask? Muahahahahaha....)

Hm. A FemShep (desperately trying to stay on topic) who loves those "old vids" might get a slight sense of deja vu if Babylon-5 were one of them.

I always choose the paragon line and interrupt in that situation.

You mean middle right? You can either go paragon line or middle right and paragon interrupt.

That's what Jane ended up saying and doing. She's ruthless, but the guy was unarmed and on all fours on the floor. When Jack refused to listen to a "Stand down" order, she grabbed the guy by the arm (inadvertantly saving his life) and pulled him up. The fear on his face made the whole choice the correct one for me. pity about the +15 Paragon though.

On the other hand, Jane chose Morinth over Samara this morning. It was a bit calculated, as she was a little intimidated by Samara and was worried about facing her down about a difference in opinion at some point in the future. At least with Morinth, if she becomes problematic, on cry of "Ardat-whatever" and Jane won't be alone if needing to face her down. Also, I think, Jane was a little bit influenced by Morinth's mental manipulations at that point, even if she didn't know it at the time. She got a healthy +45 Renegade points for it too; I was surprised at how much it is for that decision.
